I'd probably a type of anti-hero good guy dealie. Have a good sense of justice and doing what's right and all that but just not wanting to get caught up in all the crap that gets thrown on the hero. And it'd suit my general misanthropic disposition; albeit it'd suit a villian too, but I'm just not that evil.

I'd be a villain, but I'd be one of those villains that only appears evil through the view of a simplistic comic narrative, when I'm actually just the guy who is making the hard decisions that need to be made but no-one else will do it. Also, being the main villain, I probably won't die, and even situations that would kill a non-villain will just result in me coming back in an obscure way with new powers with which to combat the ever-increasing prowess of the hero.

While a hero is bound to always protect humanity and society at any cost, a villain is not. So i'd be a villain who doesn't actually do anything illegal.

I'd be the side-kick for sure. I don't like in general having all of the responsibility and I could be the clumsy side-kick people can laugh at.

Wait, that already happened...

Villain, with the stipulation that I don't have to give the hero some sort of stupid escape clause.

I'd be a hero, But a snarky and slightly egotistic one.

Imagine, you villain types are discussing your plans for the bank robbery/world domination/whatever in your back alley, then, you see someone with a confident smirk and that somebody points out some painfully obvious flaw in your scheme.

Side-kick is a bad choice, they've got the highest probability of death after love intrests in comics.

I'd be a villain, though I might be too lazy at it to attract any real attention. Though it would be tempting to go full-blown Doom if I had the capability.

If it was picking an existing character, that's a pretty hard choice as despite powers and such every character in comics has an awful life when you consider what they get put through.

Villains ... because heroes don't get shit lol .. sidekicks get even less shit ... villains make shitloads of money and have hordes of dudes at their command, ready to fight, kill and die for them

If it was real life and you had a criminal organisation up against 1 or 2 vigilantes ... well lets just say I wouldn't want to be in any "heroes" shoes.

+ I'll make damn sure that "WHEN" (not if lol) I capture these guys .. imma have them tied to chairs as I order one of my boys to slowly cut little bits of them off and feed them to chained rottweilers as I have their girlfriends raped in front of them while i sit on a throne chair smoking a reefer and drinking some fine shit.

why the hell do all these villains want to waste time telling these dudes how futile their fight is and spilling all their plans ... instead of telling them .. I'll SHOW them how badly they fucked up before i put bullets in their semen soaked girlfriends then ultimately them.... what's left of them... lets just say they'll be begging for that bullet.

.......... sorry was that a little dark? oh well, I'm a villain remember??

I don't have time for full-time heroics... I have science to do.

Also, the definition of a hero: Someone who gets other people killed.
You can look it up later.

OT: Villain, because people could argue that anti-heroes aren't heroes and I'd want to be one of them. Not all villains are "evil," some are just trying to do whatever they want despite society's rules. So if villains have more freedom than heroes, sign me up.

villain.
ususally fighting for a good cause, such as making the entire world one country with a government which actually has the capability to act (swiftly) instead of endless debating in parliaments and one-country-against-the-other politics, they are honest about their motives.

also, they tend to be much cooler than the (supposed) goody-two-shoes

I got it, which is why I added the next thing Zoe said to the guy... or did you just include the two people who acknowledged the reference?

A hero, clearly, as evil would grow dull and there's nothing to do after you take over the world.

I'd want to be like Iron Man.

A bad guy but for all the right reasons. Like I'd be evil but for the sake of a greater good. Maybe I'd start WWIII in the name of bringing the world close to the apocalypse forcing the nations of the world to strengthen bonds of peace between other nations. Maybe this would let people combine research and aid efforts across the globe meaning more cures for disease and better tech to speed up the construction process and somehow create one global nation. It may seem like I'm a villain on the surface, when in reality I have the world's best interest at heart. Sure I may die in the end, but I made the world a better place in the name of peace.

Hmmm...What would Alfred be to Batman? Not quite a side-kick.
Immortal butler?

OT: Probably a villain, just because I like to watch the world burn a little.

I'd probably want to be an Anti-Hero, but since that's on on the list, I chose "Villain"

I need a reason to be CRAAAZY! Being crazy is way too fun.
