Between those choices? Probably okay both.

Although I don't really do multiplayer that much. Can't I have amazing campaign and amazing multiplayer?

'OK' game play is never good enough. I prefer the single player routine

I'd rather have the single player option.
While it will be shorter then multiplayer, the latter it will probably wear out anyways.

Campaigns are limited. If there are no extra features to go back for, you usually only play the campaign once or twice. Multiplayer is where the replayability is at, and so I'd rather that be the high-quality portion of a game.

I'd rather have a great campaign, personally. There are already pleanty of games out there with great multiplayer, and single player is being cast more and more out of the lime light... I prefer single player anyways, for some reason.

That said, I'd rather have amazing both.

I would rather a game does what it sets out to do well.

I could give a rats if it is a single player game or multiplayer focused, as long as it's been built with that in mind and has a suitable level of effort and character built into it.

Nothing is worse than an average game that does everything averagely, three months after release nobody will remember it.

Is there a choice for no multiplayer at all?
I was thinking this exactly. I wish that developers would start focusing on making a great single player or a great multi-player, instead of splitting the time to just make a kind of 'meh' combination of the two. Arkham Asylum was great and so was Bioshock and neither had multi0player and were loved.
Well that my rant for the day.
And I forgot to say what I prefer, which would be a good campaign bad multi-player

Lets take the Orange Box:
Half-Life 2 with amazing campaign but weak multi.
Portal with amazing campaign and no multi.
Team Fortress 2 with no campaign, yet amazing multi.

Damn, I can't choose.

Depends. If I could only have one game and it had to be one of those choices then okay both.
Other than that I think most FPS would do me well with better multiplayer.
And mostly anything else would be campaign I think.

If I could have more than one of those type games, then i would get multiplayer first I think and then campaign. ...but idk
