I've got a theory that the reason the horror genre doesnt really scare like it used to is because real life boogy men make made up monsters look like a right bullshit operation- with vampires, at least you have a chance to leg it while they suck on someone else, or stab em with a bit of old stick or something. What do you do about a nuke, other than turn into a lightbulb and leave a silouhette on the nearest wall?

Vampires and no nukes, I can kill vampires on my own, but I can't do shit against a nuke. Plus, depending on what type of vampires these are, I might choose to become one...

My money's on vampires because (a) vampires are inevitably awesome and immortal and it wouldn't be too bad of a break to become one---although the nightmares if I became an Oblivion vampire would be a bit much, and (b) you can probably keep vamps at a safe distance, while if a nuke goes off you're pretty much fucked.

I picked nukes and no vampires because that's the real world and I prefer to live in that. So, yes, if nukes were imaginary and vampires were real, i would have given a different answer.
