Heck, I would gladly serve in Hell. Think about all the cool people who has gone to hell! All of the free-thinkers and such. Heaven must be so boring.
How is being a servant in Heaven any different from working to make a living here on Earth now? I have no problem with doing that, so I guess I'll take that option. Power tends to corrupt anyway, I'd rather live a happy if subservient life than be paranoid or have personality problems because of having too much power over others.
I'd choose to rule in hell if it was like in Little Nikky. Otherwise I'll take enternal paradise thanks.
Serve in Heaven. Leadership can be an overrated hassle, more so when you consider what the residents in hell must be like.
I prefer the eternal bliss over eternal torment (which is apparently what all the fallen angles endure, so rather then torturing people and being evil demons you just burn in some kind of evil mass forever.)
Taking Christian or Muslim ideology, I think it's safe to assume the ruler of hell is a defeated, embittered dude drowning in his own hatred and misery, awaiting with dread the Day of Judgement when he'll be annihilated along with all the sinful.
He's also not even much of a ruler: he's only running hell because it suits God to let him exist in order to give a non-divine counterpoint so that humans can have their faith tested.
I'm not really sure power is a particularly good recompense for such an existence.

I'm a servant in real life basically, so why wouldn't I just continue along that in the land of bliss?
I'd rather rule over hell...the idea of causing the suffering to thousands of child molesters just sounds...wonderbar not to mention shovin pinapples up Hitler's wazoo...then again being god would be fun honestly its not like in bruce almighty you just eff the humans around and laugh your ass off...aww that's be sweet as honey.

In fact, for even posing this stupid question that has been done to death by Mankind since the very creation of Man, you get yourself a baggage-class, one-way ticket to the burning pits of one of the lowest circles of Hell, where you will be eternally skinned alive and rolled around in a big pile of salt by demonic beings who really have nothing better to do with their time.

Probably rule in hell. I prefer to rule if I have a definite aim in mind, and In this case I would, so ruling over hell would suit me.
Serving people in heaven... well, it sounds sort of nice until you realize you don't know how you are going to serve them, so no. I'll go with ruling hell.

Rule in Hell. I'd basically just go completely Dorian Gray and pretend to be all nice and good so I can still go to Heaven and get it's benefits, but I'd secretly be pulling Lucifer's strings (he owes me after I set him free in Alone in the Dark last year...).
