Teleportation. Easiest to use and still keep secret. Sooner or later the people with power will find out about you. That will never end well.

I second Zachary Amaranth's question about what "proper breaks" means. Until I know that, I tentatively choose speed. There is not enough time in the day.
It means that you can't just stop running as you would if you were going at regular speeds. You would have to think of a way to stop yourself, like wearing really big shoes or something
So, wait, if I start running, there is no way to stop and I'll just keep running until I fall over asleep and/or dead? Yeah, no thanks, I don't want any of these suicidal powers.

Flying > Fast Travel > Running.

Fast travel takes too long.
Running ensures you are stuck on a landmass.

Flight seems to be the one with less of a drawback.

Teleportation would eventually get me killed, and super speed without brakes sounds really suicidal. If the problem of being self-taught is that I will have to deal with sub-sonic speeds for some years, count me in.

Take my love, take my land
Take me where I cannot stand
I don't care, I'm still free
You can't take the sky from me.

bet you know what I would want given the choice

Flying sound the best given to the cons of the three.

Teleportation is too risky even when that odd is super low (I'm not much of a gambler) and the problem I have with the concept of superspeed is that you need to wear a protective suit otherwise you tear your feet and the rest of your body from falling and tumblering at superspeed.

The way I see with flying at sonicspeed but with no pior training is that I would try to trained myself by simply flying straight up and down which I hoped it will be safe enough (worse case when doing that is that I either fly straight into the atmosphere or plummet myself to death when flying back down). Granted I will be wearing warm clothing and probably try to find an isolated area so no one can see my when flying straight up.
Sounds like someone's seen the movie Chronicle. Good on ya.

OT: Put me down for a slice of flight too.

I'll take flying. If it means I don't have to drive again I'll put up with learning how to fly.
Bah, driving is fun! It's the other arseholes on the road that make it so painful and rage-inducing.

Use your fucking indicators!

I'm gonna go with teleportation. Flying is cool, but I'd like to be able to teleport out of bad situations (getting locked out of the house).

Teleportation any day. So what you can fly? Im still going to beat you wherever we are going. I'd just travel a bit first so Ive memorized a lot of places. I never understood that whole wall thing. If you teleport somewhere there is always going to be matter in the way. It gets pushed aside is all. Granted you will be destroying a perfectly good wall but what do I care?

Flight, or teleportation if a work-around for the wall issue is found (I mean, can I just re-teleport if I land in a wall? Cause then it would be more awkward than dangerous). Superspeed is tempting, but there is too much crap to crash into on the ground. No thank you.

Flying at supersonic speeds would likely kill you (you'd lose consciousness and fall to your death, or hit something cuz you weren't paying attention).

If I can control the speed and -gradually- approach the sound barrier, then I'd go for it. If it's just ON or OFF, then no.

Teleportation, in that case.

Well, I would have chosen teleportation if it weren't for the "inevitable death" rule.

So, flying, I guess.

Then how do you accelerate in the first place, since you'd have the exact same issue getting up to speed?

The consequences of teleporting inside a wall would depend on the width, if it was thick you would suffocate, if it was thin your body would end up being split in half. If it was a person/animal or object there there would be side effects rather than it not working (similar to the wall situation). The whole wall thing is because the teleport is inaccurate, and even if you had photographic memory it would still be off by up to a metre.
The probability of a fatal accident is way too high for this to be practical. By contrast, the risk per passenger-mile of driving is about 1.5*10^-8. And that's a relatively risky mode of transportation compared to, say, flying.

There's also the air displacement issue other people have mentioned.

With the flying, you can't fly below sonic speeds but your take-off speed is a lot slower.
Basically, you'd have to wear a spacesuit and immediately make for the upper atmosphere where air resistance isn't going to completely wreck your body. And then every landing turns into a skydiving trip.

So... fun, I guess, but also pretty far from practical. But on the plus side, this is the one option that would let you hang out in outer space. So it has that going for it. (until you get blasted by a piece of space debris if you tried to exit the atmosphere completely and got a bit unlucky).

But if you could bring along enough supplies, you might be able to do a moon flyby. Which would be kind of neat, I suppose.

Season 2?

OT: I would fly because the other two have been made to be too dangerous.

I've been all over the world, so teleportation sounds like the best option for me.
I'll take the .005% percent risk factor over the 90% risk factor of me killing myself while flying due to my incomprehensibly bad hand-eye coordination and sense of balance.
Just imagine how much money I'll save on gas per year...

I'll take flight, it sounds far more fun than the other two and while teleportation would be useful, I'm rather iffy about that 1/2000 chance of appearing in a wall. What even happens then? Am I just stuck there until I teleport away or would it cut me in half? :-/
yepp exactly, if you had the power to teleport you can't tell me you wouldn't abuse that shit like crazy, I mean look at how lazy we are (collectively as people) when it comes to delivery/online purchases -_-

that being said, I would just use a simple work around and never teleport anywhere within 10 feet of a wall (such as teleport to my front yard rather than in my house), if you're going to tell me I'm going to magically teleport into the wall "because magic says so" then fuck that shit.

OT: teleporting because of the obvious speed and many uses it could have (travel to the moon once and boom, fuckin colonize that shit with a big ole flag that I made on it, might even make a giant penis sketch in the moon dust that faces the earth at night)
