Dreams are were we process our experiences of the day. If we have to go play games WHILE SLEEPING then humanity needs to stop gourging itself with constant entertainment and pleasures. Besides, it would make the Sandman cry.
Oh and if I start getting Futurama dream advertisements I'm going to become a zombie.

Very much so.

It would be awesome to play games while you sleep. but I would not get up and do "Whatever" I would play more games.

I have some pretty vivid dreams so I would rather have the OPPOSITE happen to me. I would like to replace my games with my dreams. If I could game the stuff I think about when I go to sleep, it would make for a hell of an adventure every time.

To be honest, I'd rather technology that would allow me to remember and fully experience my dreams;[footnote]Like Inception. Maybe I could alter them, as well.[/footnote] they're much more exciting and creative than video games :p

I think that the experience would be superior to video games anyway, especially if you could control them. Would you rather walk through Azeroth - or wherever - in an experience limited by coding and dev time, or in a totally limitless dream?

Shit, I already enjoy dreaming over reality enough as it is. I don't need to be having fun on top of that, then I'd never want to wake up.

I only have the one recurring dream where I'm falling off a building and landing, only to find that I landed on top of another building that I fall off. The sense of vertigo gets worse every time, and it really doesn't help that I'm not fond of heights.
So yes. Yes I would.

Not at all. I have totally off-the-wall dreams now and again. Occasionally frightening, often disconcerting and sometimes really damn cool. Sometimes I even have dreams because of the game I'm currently playing. Hell, my real dreams are a lot better than some games.

In one dream I became non-corporeal when someone opened a mirrored door. I figured that I knew how to get myself corporeal again, but without substance I couldn't get anyone to help...

In another dream I was pretty sure that I saw God, at a workbench with his back to me. I decided not to bother him, even though the objects I was finding were crude and twisted facsimilies of the item that I really wanted...

I wouldn't need it, I dream about being in games already and I'm not even that much of a gamer! I wouldn't use it even if I didn't though. I'd much rather be able to have the ability to dream about whatever I wanted to.

Dreams are amazing trips into your subconscious. A nightly download of all your fears, anxieties, hopes, plans, and etc that help you manage your daily life.

Games are an awesome form of escapism, and if I experience them instead of dreams and in reality, they would oversaturate my life and cease to be an escape from said reality. Games would become my reality and as a result dull and unimportant.

I will keep my dreams and let my games take me away while I am awake.

I'd love it, but we would all go mental, playing games takes our conscious mind so it would need to stay awake and then you never actually rest it.
We would just torture our mind to the point where it can't cope anymore, and then games actually would cause violence.

No, dreams are so much better than any video game.

Plus, dreaming is kind of important to the human psyche, there have been studies done that show that people that have been deprived of dream sleep do go a bit mental after a few days.

With so few characters I can relate to? And even fewer female? Ick.

I mean, really. Can any of you imagine me being in the head of Kratos? That would be the most simultaneously boring and awkward gaming experience ever.
