You're on your computer. It's late at night. You come across a page on Facebook. Maybe you were looking through your news feed. Maybe you don't even have an account and are just following a link. Either way, you come across it.
A window pops up bearing the Facebook logo. It says one thing: Would you like to permanently shut down Facebook? Two buttons present themselves underneath the query, "Yes" and "No". You have no clue. You have no idea of what this could mean. Is it a joke? Is it serious? Should you pass up this opportunity? Should you just ignore it all together?
Now, it comes down to it. What do you do? It might be telling the truth. You might actually have this power before you. Do you waste it? Do you click "No", exit out of the window, ignore it all together? Because you don't trust it? Would you actually take it seriously enough to just ignore it? Because you actually like Facebook? Because you feel you don't have the right to make that kind of life-changing decision?
Or, do you click "Yes"? Do you use the power that has been given to you? Because you hate Facebook? Because you feel Facebook has perverted or hindered society in some way? Maybe you'll do it just to see if it will really happen. Because you believe it's all a joke or isn't real. Or maybe you'll do it just because you can.
Click either "Yes" or "No". Be honest. If a window like this really popped up, what would you really do? It's just a single browser window after all... What harm could it do?
Decide, and explain your reasons. Question other's. Discuss.
