I dont mind face book really. I more or less just kinda wander around here. Besides, Facebook is huge for people that are too dumb to know any better. Why would I take away the entertainment value is provides?

I would. Its not the only social network out there, but its the only one that really mankes me cringe everytime I log into my account. Stop asking me to join groups and to play Zinga games and I might think about not deleting you if I come across the lethal button.

Quick statement. Facebook practically has all the people who are interested in social networking already IN facebook. So if someone doesn't like facebook ands want to shut it down then why would he/she be on browsing? Okay you can scratch that, i'm just trying to find flaws in sentences, I'm sorry. Now, for real. I would click yes (if i had an account) because I don't like social networking.

In that exact situation I wouldn't think it was going to have any effect, so I would hit "yes" just to see what happens.

If I actually had the option of shutting Facebook down then I wouldn't do it. I don't use Facebook myself but I see nothing wrong with others using it.

I don't think I would. I'd just like to be able to delete my account without it being stored in the server for two weeks "just in case".

I wouldn't. Not because I care about keeping in touch with most of the people on my friends list, but because I don't care what people get up to one way or another (unless it starts hurting someone else or me, but Facebook isn't that bad...yet)

I would kill the power to my PC, and then boot up again, and then never touch that site again.

I don't touch random pop-up windows that has a yes/no button. Not even gonna try to close it. It's gonna end up being a virus <.<

I would love to see some people without facebook for a day or two.

I would do it for the lulz.

I'd say yes, and not because I hate it. Personally, I think it's a waste of time. Sure, occasionally someone will post the interesting nugget, but 99% of the time, it's people posting about trivial nonsense.

Yeah, I'll come out and say it, I have an account, and I do use it. But now that the site has become like a swiss army knife, offering everything at a click of a button, it's gotten too big for it's own good. I've used a few bits of it, but I mainly use it to keep in touch and so that the people of the website I run can get a hold of me quickly. Other than that, can't be bothered.

But, on the other hand, Kudos to Zuckerberg (spelling?) on making such a site that draws millions of people, connects them and either enhances or ruins their life.

I would click yes because I feel that if you want to talk to someone you TALK to them.

I'd probably click "yes" under the assumption it was a joke. There's things about facebook I can understand (catching up with old friends, etc), but there's more things about facebook that I wish would go away (if I try to rattle off all of those I'm going to be here a while).

So, in short: Yes under the assumption that it was a joke, but if it wasn't I wouldn't feel TOO terrible.

I wouldn't go outta my way to shut down facebook, but I wouldn't be crying if facebook suddenly got shut down.
