Poll: Would you stay in the Matrix or leave?

If it was revealed to you reality as you knew it was fake, but indistinguishable from your senses, if you were given the option to leave...would you?

(In this hypothetical scenario there is no war with machines, you either live in sunny, fake lala land, or dingy, grey real life with the occasional tribal rave).


If this has been done before....get over it were doing it again! I attempted a search but tbh I got bored!

OR go to dingy world with occasional tribal raves?

I'd stay, especially if I was aware of it and could "bend" the reality to some degree.
My dream is being Neo, and just stay online forever, but staying low not making myself known to the computers.

As long as I knew that I was in the Matrix I would stay.
If the choice was between staying and not knowing or getting out and knowing, then I would definitely leave. But if I could stay and know, then I would stay.

I would leave, as assuming that you are talking about the same conditions as the matrix, I wouldn't be able to stand the thought of my body being used as a battery.

As long as I am enjoying it, I don't mind super-intelligent robots harvesting my body heat - as long as I am always blissfully unaware of other's suffering in 'reality'
