No, I wouldn't, and anyone who does is just a bastard. My reasoning is thus: If you bought a pre-owned game in the store, and it didn't work, how pissed off would you be? You'd be annoyed at whoever traded the game in knowing it didn't work. So what right, or justification, do you have for doing that exact same thing? If the game is broken then either find a way to fix it, or accept that it won't work anymore and just throw it away. If you try trading it in, then you're just a selfish twat. That's my opinion, anyway :p.

Besides, don't most stores get your name and address, and ID, when you trade games in (they do in the UK at least)? So if it doesn't work, then they can track you down and get their money back. That's what I'd do if I owned a game store, at least. So if you buy a game and it doesn't work, complain at the store and demand they take action against whoever traded it in. Hopefully that'll teach the little bastards to trade in games that ACTUALLY WORK in future...
