Having to watch my friends and family die or condemn them to the same fate, people are supposed to die its the only certainty, so i would say no. now a werewolf, that would be different.

You get immortality, but you still have to eat and sleep?
No. Too many downsides. Getting blood is hard enough, but the only power you get is super strength? no hypnosis or anything?
Add to the fact you'd be removed from society so good luck buying anything or working anywhere.
It'd be just far too difficult to do anything, given society as a whole is diurnal.

What about magic like in the Vampire: The Masquerade? I'd say fuck yes to that. Although i'd say yes as it is.

Yes I would, then I'd eat the cast of Twilight.
How about the myth that Vampires can make any woman attracted to them? :3

You could always just turn them.
Makes you wonder, if you you were a vampire and didn't want to kill people, you'd have to choose between doing the 'Angel' thing of drinking from blood-bags or you'd have to turn anyone you bite. And then you'd end up with a world full of vampires with no source of human blood. What happens then? Do we all starve, or do we just get used to the hunger?

OT: I'd probably take the offer and just drink blood-bags, after all, stealing blood wouldn't be hard if you can turn into a bat, and I'm assuming you can still go out in the day-time as long as you aren't being hit by direct sunlight (so you could take the sewers between buildings and stay under cover the rest of the time. Also, I'd also assume that if you only drink blood then any body fat you have wouldn't last long (as your body would still be equipped to use your body fat but without more fatty foods you wouldn't replace it. So I'd be uber-toned and sexy, live forever, not have to kill anyone and if I ever fall in love I won't have to out-live my partner. Though admittedly I'd like to wait a few years (I'm only 16, I'd rather get out of my teens and finish puberty).

Sounds like an awesome proposition, except I love being out in the sun and I love garlic. And I never compromise for food.

On the other hand, If I gave a reason like that, the dude'd probably turn me anyway out of spite.

Yes, I would. But damn man, that is hell specific.
Anyway, Immortality is basically all I've ever wanted in a neat little package, so very yes. I'd have to move around a lot (You know, instead of, say, living in one castle and draining villagers...from the same village.) I probably wouldn't kill anyone; if I had to I'd partially drain 2 people- people tend to sharpen the ol' pitchforks when folk die.

I would. One of my big things is that I worry I won't be able to go out and do all the things I'd like to in one lifetime, so not having to worry about old age would definitely help with that, I think.
