I agree.

Mostly because it does not take much effort to type properly. Granted, I've stopped really caring unless someone's typing is so poor that I can't understand them. Then it becomes a big issue.

I absolutely hate "text-talk". Way to make yourself look like a complete fool. Oddly enough, pretty much everyone who gives me a hard time on the internet speaks that way, and I've always admired intelligence, so... I guess this is a good thing.

So many stupid people. They type as few letters as possible and try to justify and excuse it and try to make me out to be the fool for being the one typing proper sentences!

Speaking of which.... Your sentence structure, poor it is.
First thought that came to my mind.

I'unno, the corners of the Internet I frequent don't have many problems with shoddy writing. Not an issue to me. But I agree, so eh.

I try to write intelligibly, but I am sure there are mistakes as English isn't my best language. As long as people spell-check, and at least try to punctuate it doesn't bother me. Honestly, unless their post is unreadable I think it's a silly thing to get upset about. I am more concerned with the content of their post than the grammar.

You can't enforce any uniformity in how people speak on the internet. I try to use good grammar and avoid abbreviations. People do abbreviate things to a ridiculous extent. I've had to Google more than a few of them lately (I think fubar was the last one. One was a humorous "hit and run" insult: "Fuck you, bitch!" And run!).
Sorry, but is that what you think FUBAR means? Because that's about as valid an interpretation as claiming the A&P store chain stands for "Ass & Penis." And frankly, even as far as acronym corruption goes, that's a pretty bad one. If you can't use at least the first/first and second letter of each word to make it fit, you're doing it wrong.

Though more to the point, it stands for, "Fucked Up Beyond All Recognition."
No, of course I didn't really think it meant that. Seriously?
I was presented with an acronym that was new to me, so my mind filled in the blanks. And since my mind is not serious 99% of the time, if came up with that. I discovered the meaning of it when I Googled it.

Though I can see why you'd think I believed it really meant that. There were about three sentences I remember thinking of when I wrote that post, but left them out for some reason. Yikes. I need to get more sleep.
