Funny, about 80% of the posts above me sound like they've never played MAG, and therefore have very little idea of what it actually is. The game is actually quite different from what the slogan of 256 player online FPS might suggest.
For example:

also sure everyone on the 360 has a mic.....great... could you imagen a game of 256 MW2 players screaming at you?
Except that the max number of players you can hear on a given channel is 8. Half of those 256 players aren't even on your side! If anything, this game should come packed with a mic. The fundamental weakness of MAG is that if you don't have a mic, you're playing in an endless cycle of giant team deathmatches. It is quite incredible how four friends with mics can easily take over a match if both teams are uncoordinated, especially on defense.
I actually think that once you hop over the technological limitations, it might work better on the X360 (assuming that it is possible to hop over those said limitations). The lag should be no problem, you just need to invest in a good server system and not the crappy systems that MW2 employs. If the X360 can't handle the processing necessary, just scale down a bunch of stuff without killing the basic gameplay. People always tell me that graphics aren't that important (I generally disagree), so a downgrade there should be fine. The X360 has what many consider a superior online system in the XBL. With most of the player base equipped with mics, and the advantages of a better Friends system on the XBL, I think that a MAG style game would perform better on the X360.
As for the concerns of it being a clusterf*ck, I can tell you right now that it's not a clusterf*ck. In fact, as a gamer who has experienced real clusterf*cks (from the heydays of Planetside), I can confidently say that MAG comes nowhere close to being a clusterf*ck. Only way for MAG to become a clusterf*ck is for all 256 players to chase after one objective, and that never happens.
