I wonder what Yahtzee would think if he saw this.

Well anyways I would like to see him do Odin Sphere. I would love to see what he has to say about that

I'd like Rome Total War Barbarian Invasion, but will settle if he could take Empire (When it comes out) for a spin.

Haha, doesn't Yahtzee make a point of not reviewing JRPGs?

Going on my intuition, I'd say a game like Kane and Lynch or Assasin's Creed is more in order. He probably can't review Mass Effect for at least another week or two, due to the size of the game, and with what he's said about multiplayer UT3 is a frickn' longshot.

Crysis, maybe. But he's done a lot of FPSes. something else might be better.

Wouldn't it be an absolute laugh if, just to spite this thread, Yahtzee reviewed Commander Keen?
I always thought Yahtzee has been more interested in sharing thoughts on older games, movies, etc anyway. I'd prefer he take a look back on some "groundbreaking" games from the past that seem to have no detractors. Games like Ultima Underworld, Planescape: Torment, Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, etc

While I love Crysis and have never played Mass Effect, ME feels the obvious choice. We've had enough FPS's, so it would be nice to hear what he thinks of it. Especially the stupid load times.

Like I said, I think he should use his wit for more than just reviewing games.
There are plenty of topics in video games that could be adressed...

I bet he could make a damn funny review of Kane and Lynch. Or any other game, for that matter.

I voted for Crysis for the perhaps slightly retarded reason that I feel the game is incredibly over hyped. And it is always nice to see those games take a beating when deserved.

Would be nice to see a Crysis review. It's a great game, but theres plenty of ammo for pulling the piss.

Don't much care for mass effect, until it comes to pc.

I honestly don't care what Yahtzee reviews, so long as he plays -something- and says what he thinks of it. If he keeps getting asked (read: made) to review horrible games, just so we can laugh at his disgust, he's going to start hating games entirely and grow (somehow) more bitter and disgusted with the medium like any sensible person. Yahtzee's appeal to me is that he takes even good games like The Orange Box's contents and points out where they fell short; that kind of criticism is more useful than just talking about the good bits. Game developers will keep making horrible gameplay elements (see: "God-of-War-Simon-Says-etc.") unless reviewers and fans tell them they don't want to play games with that kind of stuff.

So in short, he should just be allowed to play whatever he wants, so long as he puts out another review-film full of wit and humor. I'd honestly like to see some retrospective reviews/editorials like he did with "Fable;" even a written retro-review of System Shock 2 would be neat, just to hear his thoughts on a game he liked (unless I interpreted his Bioshock review incorrectly).

I don't think Mass Effect needs much reviewing... It's going to be good, it was made by Bioware. To my knowledge, every game they have made has been good (unless they had a hand in Neverwinter Nights 2. But I heard otherwise).

Crysis is a real wildcard. It has sweet toggled power-ups that remind me of Deus Ex, which gives it a lot of points. On the downside, it was made by EA Games (No more +points). Some of you may like EA, but I really don't at all, because from what I've played they just don't do quality games.

EA didn't have anything to do with the Development of Crysis; It was all handled by Crytek, pretty much all EA did was distribute it.
Regardless of the fact EA didn't make Crysis; there are many studios under the EA brand name and although some of them do a terrible job, boycotting the lot is unfair.

He said most JRPGs, but not all. Odin Sphere is more like an RPG side-scrolling brawler, so he probably would make an exception. Plus its 2D, which kind of game he hasnt done ore even commented on. But then again isnt it the Escapist that pays for all his games now? So I guess its up to them what he will review. Regardless, as long as its amusing, I dont care what he reviews..
