People always overlook IUDs. They are easy to put in, virtually unnoticable, and as/more effective than the pill. I'm not saying that it's the woman's sole responsibility to make sure that she's protected, but really, when it's so safe, cheap and simple to do, she should.

Have one kept in your wallet, for all occasions.
Problem with that is that, after enough time, your body heat can render the condom ineffective. I think you would have to be carrying it for around 2 months, but still.
A very good point, change it every month or so if you're unlucky enough to go without a random sexual encounter for that long.

Condoms? Sex?? On a gaming forum???

(Upon being reminded on his own lonely, socially-inept existence, TheBluesader tries to point at the screen defiantly while fighting back tears.)

On topic, everyone should bring condoms. All the time. It's always best to be personally prepared. Plus, if you have a lot of condoms, you can have a condom party.

Yay! Condom party!

Don't provide protection against STDs though, which is pretty much the deciding advantage of the condom over other contraceptives.

I would suggest that it's the man's responsibility to provide condoms, if only because it's your cock it's going on, so get ones you know are comfortable.

Well I'm straight-laced (or a pathetic virgin what ever you like to call it) and on my oppinion in a perfect world both parties would be prepared, but this would require us girls to keep several different condoms with us, after all how are we supposed to know his size ahead of tiime? So I say man.

I just recently started dating this girl and i've really taken a shine to her, and she's taken a shine to me as well, so at this point it seems that sex is inevitable.
What a romantic way of putting things.

B.O.T

If you're anticipating sex then it's both parties responsability, it's both people's choice as to whether it happens (come on, give us men some credit) so they should both be prepared.

If you assume it's your responsability and always take them (condoms that is), you can't go far wrong.
Yeah, i did realise it kinda sounded like i was talking about the end of the world and not sex with the woman i love...perhaps the word "inevitable" isnt the most romantic term to use, well well, you seem to have gotten the point atleast ^^

Thoughts on the subject? HA! I hate the damned things. Haven't had one of those on my John Thomas in years. But, I've been dating my girlfriend for closing in on 7 years, and she's on a form of birth control. Makes life much easier.

My girlfriends have always expected me to provide, but my current girlfriend's sister has a ton of them that she takes everywhere.

Yeah.

I'd say it's more the man's responsibility but the woman shouldn't be pissed off if she didn't bring any either.

It's definately up to both to bring the condom, other forms of protection, etc. Because there's two individuals (or more, if you get pregnant) that can be affected.

That said, I'm going to say that I would carry it (male) because I would not want to pay child support for a kid I never planned on having at a time when my life isn't stable.

Well in my case, whoever's giving it I believe should bring the condoms. But I always carry a spare in my wallet, so it's usually okay.
Good point, I never even thought about that.

Wait.....what?
Well, gay sex was the underlying message there, what did you get?
For some reason I was think of giving it in the non-innuendo way, as in a gift. I think my brain may have shut down for the day.

I say if you want to sheath your "pickle" (sorry, I don't want to say penis) Then you should bring a condom, but women should keep them in case the guy forgets.

Birth Control is against my religion. So if you don't want a baby, don't have sex.
Then so to is refraining from having sex. It's a form of birth control. So, what you're saying is that you must engage in sex as an attempt to procreate as often as possible.

As long as you are, in fact, a man and not a little boy I don't see any problem with you having the condoms. If she wants nookie and wants to suprise you with said nookie, then she should supply that particular condom.

But please tell me you are not 15, seemingly the average age on this board.

I don't care. Long as I have enough to cover the mics. Keep the sweat out of them.
