Erm ... Maybe Jack or Grunt ... I don't know, they aren't very interesting and usually hate me.

I have the same thing. I know I won over (to a degree) Grunt's respect in his Loyalty Mission but he still doesn't interest me and is just an asshole O_O Jack is worse but she has that reason in her backstory that makes you understand her. I was just surprised that at the end of it that she didn't even treat you better.

Yeah. I tought I was getting somewhere with her ... but then I slept with Tali ... and Miranda ... and Kelly ... and Liara ... and now Jack hates me ... Maybe it's me. My Shepard is kind of a horny bastard who sleeps with everything (given the chance)

That's not an option, I'm afraid. But there's nothing to stop you from picking her as your tech specialist in the suicide mission (which would kill her.)

The game progresses based on missions completed and checkpoints.
When you do a certain number of missions a checkpoint is unlocked.

The first checkpoint is the Collector's ship.
The second one is the Reaper one.

I'll just have to play a few more side-quests in order to skip her and reach my checkpoints.

It's not that I don't like him,nor do I think he's a bad character,but things never really clicked between him and I.
Besides,I need to keep Jacob/kaiden on board to mock them,and Jack to practice how to steer clear of the crazies.
Besides,Legion has a better rifle,so Thane's role is a bit redundant in my style of fighting.

Poppycock - I have never lost Tali, she's a freaking dynamo with a great shotgun. Hell, in my canonical Mass Effect, she was the one who put the last bullet in Saren: Tali for the win. And how is she racist. She joins a team for the sole reason of saving the galaxy and its species.

To the people who voted Jack with the motivation "she's a *****" or similar: congratulations on playing into the vacuous and shallow perception of humanity that character so vehemently rejects. I bet a lot of you didn't like Isabela in DAII, either.
Perhaps you'll learn better in time.

Either way, these sort of threads always bothered me. People seem far too fond of the idea of killing off the characters in that game.
Moral posturing aside, my vote goes to Thane. He's just so terminally void of interest to me.
A great design, absolutely, but the character left me cold.

I'd much rather be rid of Kaidan "appeal of a piece of damp cloth" Alenko, however.
