Not that this needs a lot of explanation.

You're allowed to kill ONE of your squadmates from Mass Effect 2 with no repercussions whatsoever. So who's it going to be?

Personally, I'd "accidentally" push Jacob out of the airlock. He's the Kaiden of Mass Effect 2, the "goody-goody", "by-the-book" sidekick, and for that he needs to die.
Naw, Jacob was dull, but he was nice enough.

For me, it's Miranda. ***** gets a bullet right between the eyes.

Jack most definitely. That ho gotta go! =P
Jack dear Maker Jack. She is seriously the biggest "boo-hoo poor me" and "I'm a tough grrrrl respect me!" ***** in the galaxy. It almost seems that she's a parody of tragic back-stories. Did not stop me from sexing her up though. (It was for the achievement, and I didn't save the file, I have standards after all)

Jack, such a *****. I don't care what happened to you during your childhood, doesn't make you a bad ass by default. The way she acts really gets on my nerves. The vacuum of space can have her.

Jack. I even redid the last mission, because Jack didn't die on the first try. She did on the second. I now have a perfect save for ME3.

To the people who voted Jack with the motivation "she's a *****" or similar: congratulations on playing into the vacuous and shallow perception of humanity that character so vehemently rejects. I bet a lot of you didn't like Isabela in DAII, either.
Perhaps you'll learn better in time.

Either way, these sort of threads always bothered me. People seem far too fond of the idea of killing off the characters in that game.
Moral posturing aside, my vote goes to Thane. He's just so terminally void of interest to me.
A great design, absolutely, but the character left me cold.

I'd much rather be rid of Kaidan "appeal of a piece of damp cloth" Alenko, however.
I like the way you think about the characters, the way you consider Jack especially.

As for killing off these characters, I'll admit, it's not the brightest choice of conversation, but it's not as though we have any real intention of harming anyone. This thread is just a little bit of stupid fun for us to enjoy.

And I agree, we could afford to lose Kaiden.

Wow, I'm actually surprised at all the hate for Jack in this thread, I mean I can understand if these were first impressions, but did nobody play her loyalty mission and realize that the whole "bad girl" routine is just an image she puts up to hide the fact that she's still scarred by the experiments performed on her as a child?

That mission really sold her character to me. Now Miranda on the other hand, I thought had no redeemable qualities at all and was just an all around *****, which is why I always try my best to make sure she dies in the final mission.

Who would I kill? There is only one person who must die.

The first checkpoint is the Collector's ship.
The second one is the Reaper one.
I'll just have to play a few more side-quests in order to skip her and reach my checkpoints.
Try it, but I assure you, it won't work.
**head tilt**

Actually, I wonder. Not that I wouldn't recruit Tali - I love Tali - but Samara... huh.

I DO know I've unlocked the Reaper IFF mission before I've recruited all party members. So in THEORY I could skip Samara, as long as I had enough side quests (and with all the DLC, I should).

I don't HATE Samara or anything (not like Miranda). But it would be an interesting experiment. I'd skip Thrane, but I want that Viper Sniper Rifle.

Jack/Miranda, if only so I don't have to listen to them chant about their"superior bionics" every 5 minutes.

After realizing Jacob reminded me of Foremen (from house) and Miranda reminded me of Cameron (also house) I decided to role-play as this

was awesome fun, this occur to anyone else???

I want to kill all quarians, but I guess just Tali will have to suffice. Useless species, should've been extinct already.

Jacob doesn't have a whole lot of depth, he's just like Kaiden. He's nothing more than the "ideal soldier", if he at least had anger issues, or some apparent flaw, it would make him that much more tolerable for me.

I know it sounds weird, but every character should be a bit of an arse at times. Even Garrus showed some serious mental instability when dealing with Sidonis.

If you do the loyalty missions first, you can put off some of the later recruitment missions, but you still have to complete them all before you can finish the game.
