Wow i have to be really specific with some people, you can have your decorations and your toys, don't have a fit about it. I'm talking about weapons, I have a suborito in my room which was a weapon when it was designed but now it's just exercise equipment. Only someone being pedantic would call it a weapon now.
I am also talking about weapons. Guns in working order, fired with live ammo at friggin "anything not human" actually...
You make it sound like EVERYONE who owns a firearm is ready to kill. Fact is, most are not. And you can´t be unless you actually did kill once. Some police officers become psychological wrecks or freeze up when they actually NEED to use their gun, and you think some run about civilian is gonna do better?
Also, go into your kitchen...I bet there is an arsenal of long, sharp, pointy things designed to cut flesh or other stuff, clearly those aren´t weapons but "tools"...
No you're not. What you're describing is not a weapon or a tool, it's a toy, a needlessly dangerous toy. As long as you play safe I guess that's fine.

If it was a pistol that I liked, and if the mag was full, I'd take it because that would mean that at least it wasn't fired.

So if a Colt 1911 is used on a range it´s a toy, but if it is used in a war or a crime to shoot people, it´s a weapon?
What qualifies as a weapon for you then?
I can tell you a lot of things likely found in an average home that can be turned into or used as weapons fairly easily.
Please answer per PN as to not spam this thread further.

I'd take it and keep it but never use it. I'd like hide it under my bed or something and use it in self-defense if necessary.

I'd keep it, and occasionally get it out to run round the house going 'pew pew!' at everything.
