I was almost clean, only had a few more months, but a Happy Gilmore quote misconstrued as something serious landed me a warning.

Even after explaining what it was, I still didn't get it appealed, so remember kids, add disclaimers to everything because some people don't watch movies.

OT:

cannot remember for the life of me the exact moment when i received my couple warnings, one was when i was being purposefully trollish, because the person was being very passive aggressive so i just couldn't help my giddy little self, and the first one...-error. No data in memory banks.

my record is purely impure

One for a low content, and another for calling the ever-famous Zeel a troll. Been a good boy ever since.

Hurm. I'm pretty sure my one warning was from a low content post, but I don't recall if that's accurate or if I actually got warned for doing something dumber than that. I also don't particularly want to dig through my archives to unearth that stuff. Anyways, other than that, totally clean.

Nope, no warnings. Not ever. I did make a stupid thread when i first joined up, that got promptly locked after the rules were made clear to me, but that was it. Honestly, just aren't around enough to make any stupid mistakes. If I were to post with some sort of regularity, I'd probably get in a bit more trouble.

I think I had 4 at most, but those have since been removed because I stayed nice for so long. Overall I'm a pretty nice poster around here. Hell, I mean, I've posted drunk on the forums and haven't even heard a squeak about it.

My health bar has always been clean, mostly because I don't let myself get in arguments and I only post if I really have something to say. Hopefully I'll be able to keep it clean for a lot longer, too.

I got one for apparently calling someone a Troll, felt it was a little wishy washy as I didn't intentionally or out right call him a troll, he had created a post calling someone else a troll, an I pointed out that the post felt like it was a bit of a flame attempt. So not like I was "you dam troll".

But meh it's an internet forum, not worth the effort to complain an not going to loose sleep over it. An to be fair although I don't think I'm aggressive I argue some points fairly hard with people ( no name calling or anything) an have not got called up for that so it all evens out.

I've had 3. Currently down to 1 for good behaviour.

One for low content, a two word reply to... something. Strangely I can't even remember the thread topic now though I think it was something to do with girls on the internet.

One for low content since it looked like I'd just quoted part of an article without saying anything but I'd actually done an edit of the text to make a joke about Gabe Newell eating a lot. Hmm, they called it low content but possibly it was low originality, or punishment for further delaying Half Life 3.

And one for "insulting a contributor" while discussing The Old Republic. Actually, given the tone of most of my posts on that game back then I'm slightly surprised I walked away from those particular forum wars with only one warning.

I don't regret that one. Honorable scars earned in combat with a monstrous beast - TOR that is, not the contributor. I'm sure he's very nice and not at all monstrous or beastlike.

I was slammed down by overzealous moderators due to their abuse of the "Low content" rule to unfairly discipline people they have a personal axe to grind against. Due to this moderation abuse I am at six warnings

It's almost funny that I got suspended for that... "Mod sass will not be tolerated" as the message went. It's nice to know that they have to resort to making up rules so they can get me suspended!

Why would we tolerate attacks against the moderators who help keep this site in order? Mod sass will not be tolerated in any form. The same way insulting a normal user is not acceptable. If you have an issue with the moderators then you are free to contact [user]Nasrin[/user], the Community Manager (aka our boss!) to explain your concerns. You are also free to appeal the previous moderation which is dealt with by the staff themselves.

I'm sitting on a low content warning at the moment, but I think I may have had 2 or 3 altogether.

I believe my sole remaining warning originates from a thread about the world war z movie.

Also, I can't wait for it to go away, so I can make some poorly thought out posts and still be allowed to peruse the forums.
