Poll: You In the wasteland...(Realistically)

So somehow you end up In the world of fallout (1 2 or 3), as you are, what do you do? (and realistically, most of us probably arnt going to take on a gang of raiders with our 10mm...or mabye you would)

Join a gang? the brotherhood? the enclave? wander the wastes? or settle somwhere? do you think you would survive? or to be honest would you probably be dead within a day?

for Me I would probably hang around where ever I ended up (Rivet city or megaton) my weopon of choice would be a sniper rifle, I would probably want to join the brotherhood as a scribe, and if I was truly adventurous Mabye a knight (But probably not)

I wouldnt like to travel especially on my own

I would also try and fix the outcasts problem ether by diplomacy or a nuke...sure they do good work but the fect they want elder lyons in front of a fireing squad...makes me hate them even more, whats the point of preserving humanity if you lose youre in the process? right?

I'd end up dead or enslaved in short order. It wouldn't be a pleasant life, and social niceties for people like me would probably be first out the window.

I'd go make myself useful in Megaton for awhile, learn the ropes (if in fact I were just dumped there after basically being as sheltered as a vault dweller), hope to get to know the area and survive before it got the better of me.

Do we get a Pip-Boy? Because otherwise, knowing me I'd probably wander through a hot zone and turn into a ghoul.

Fo' Srs: I'd build myself a grand shelter where it would be the most impenetrable, take in all the slaves I could, teach them to fight, and then help the Brotherhood get rid of all the Enclave slime with my army of angry freedom-fighters.

Well, immortality isn't bad - but you might want to watch out that your shoulder-based companion doesn't hijack your nervous system and go on a campaign of global conquest!

I'd just try to survive day to day. Usually through wandering.

Ideally, I'd transform into a super mutant. That would be great, I'd be big, strong, loud and green, and I'd have a super sledge and beat the shit out of pussy wasteland explorers

Wander around, scavenging what I need or become a Raider and take what I need from others. Or perhaps I'll become a wandering Raider who scavenges and steals.

I'd probably go with the wandering around, scavenging food and supplies for myself and selling any useful items I can find like machine parts. I might take an odd job here and there, maybe get into the merc or slaver business to get by. I wouldn't go around looking for fights and would most likely just avoid danger rather than fight through it. And I'd either travel alone or with one or two other people. Its easier to get by when you only have a couple mouths to feed.

Although whether or not I'd survive that long is up in the air. I'm willing to do some weird things to survive in the wasteland such as selling myself (for labor or other "needs" ) or taking on an interesting diet (radroach meat, mole rat, fungi, that "strange meat" I found). I don't have a lot of skills on how to survive in a wasteland, but I have a decent amount of knowledge that might help and I learn quickly, so it would mainly come down to chance.

I wouldn't mind it that much though. Not having any rules or social codes to restrict you and only having to do what you need to do to survive doesn't seem that bad of a way to live.

That's easy, I'd get my gun, my ammo, and my backpack. Fill the backpack with whatever supplies i have (food, water, ammo, etc) and find the nearest town. Then i'd see about starting or going a mercenary group. Gotta make a living somehow. Since Engineering is pretty much useless, i have only my marksmanship and tactical skills to fall back on.

Edit: Is this the Fallout 1/2 wasteland, the Fallout: Tactics wasteland or the Fallout 3 wasteland? Cuz if it's not FO1/2/3 i'm boned.
