Poll: You In the wasteland...(Realistically)

Let's assume the Fallout 3 wasteland. In the other two games, your character is sort of hit over the head with "We need the water chip" and "We need the GECK", and the F3 guy isn't.

Realistically, I go to Megaton and work on the Wasteland Survival Guide with Moira, the resident Kaylee. C'mon, she gives you cool stuff!

I'd probably scavenge for weapons at the nearest buildings or ruins I found and hope I'd find something before something found me. I'd say realistically i'd have a 50/50 chance of survival.

I would find/build a shack somewhere far away and hunt for food. Like a hermit.

I'd probably die, but my plan would be to make it to Megaton, then settle down.

Assuming the first radroach that I came across didn't eat me for breakfast? Eh settle and find something to do or join a gang...just try and survive I suppose. I?m not deluded enough to think I would come out a hero in that situation.

I would attempt to find a town and live there. But knowing my luck, I would turn a corner and either run into a group of deathclaws, yao gui or a large band of slavers or raiders.

It really depends where I turn up and what stuff I have and which game it is.

I am a hunter with plenty of experience with firearms and I do like camping and hiking, but at the same time I'm no soldier or expert surivalist. I do have three years of medical school under my belt as well. I'd try my hardest to join someone safe like the brotherhood or something where I could help with this knowledge and hopefully learn more. But I'd settle for helping the Doc somewhere like Shady Sands. I'd work hard, hopefully marry and settle down, teach someone else what I know of medicine so it wouldn't get forgotten. It'd be a tough life but no more so then our colonial ancestors.

Simple I wander and gather what I need, then I dig myself a hole or find a hole and plant myself there for a while only leaving to find more supplies and perhaps a human who has yet to find themself a hole to plant themself in, the more the marrier, and then I cna try out canablism =D

Realistically: Die horribly to the first creature I encounter.

Ideally: Survive long enough to make it to an NCR town, and live there in the relative protection they offer. That or drive a very heavily guarded caravan.

Run alot. Then either get eaten or go to megaton. Then maybe suicide.

I'd find a settlement (preferably megaton) and settle down.

Try to settle. Realistically though, I'd be dead very soon without my medication.

Stimpaks cure everything. From multiple gunshot wounds to stepping on landmines to having your heart condition flare up while walking tin cans shot green death goo at you in a fucking sewer.

Gather a crew together, get them to call me leader, then see how long I could survive with my crew. Simple enough.
