You invent a cure for everything and the media finds out and broadcast it to the world.

If you don't give it up people will NEVER leave you alone and you will have thousands of angry morons with signs at your door and someone will probably attempt to kill you and take it themselves.The media will probably make you look like a monster.

But if you do give it up you will have doomed to world to over-population and basically kill the human race. (you probably don't want that on your conscience)

I'd sell it to the world's governments, only after they agree to pass laws stating that populations of the world must be capped through various means regulating births, and only after all those laws have been passed and been accepted as unable to be withdrawn for at least fifty years after they are introduced. That way, the world's population will be regulated, and hopefully decrease by massive amounts naturally, regardless of the use of my miracle cure, and the human race isn't denied access to something so vital and fundamental. Everyone wins .

Destroy it. As you said, if everything was cured it would leave to over-population which leads to disaster, starvation, and economic ruin.
Also burn any materials related to the cure just to be safe.

I'd give it to people I cared about, and sell it to a very select few to make huge sums of money, but other then that keep it to myself. Disease is one of the few ways to have at least some population control other then war.

Make it so expensive that it is almost impossible to get, or even better have the government enforce strict population controll and gve it out to people after that, but i get a high position in government.

If anyone actually knew, governments would be beating down my door to get the cure, so obviously, I would have never let it get out in the first place.

I'd determine who deserved the cure based on their contributions to society and how much a good person they are. Even then, it's a bit of a stretch, though, as the world is far too overpopulated.

publicly broadcast it has been discovered, let only you yourself mass produce it, hold a mass inoculation, and then kill everyone with the C4 you repaved the 13 square miles of land around you with.
