Why? You'd be rightfully pissed off if PS3 was excluded from a similar poll.

I get over 24 PC game per year, the overwhelming majority of my games are on PC, at any given year I'd only get 8 games for any particular console (or find 8 games released that year worth getting). By that metric alone PC is 3x as valuable as my PS3.

I said no PC simply because pretty much everyone here has one and they can be used for more then gaming so I was sticking to consoles for it since its gaming first and has other stuff 2nd while PC it can be it or not I have nothing against PC.

If you truly meant this thread to be:

"If You could only have one games CONSOLE..."

Then say so! Don't be so arrogant to act as if PC is not a valid system for gaming. Or so obtuse to exclude it with such convoluted and belated explanation.

Now most of the responses in this thread are people just saying they'd stick with PC because of how unreasoned you were.

I certainly could live without all those consoles in the poll. The only exception would be the DS. If my PC was included in the ban, then I'd probably go with the PSP, since I could play movies on it.... Or not, because I'd need my PC to convert and transfer them.

PS3, definetly.
Got an Xbox360 two years ago, and I loved it, but after getting my PS3 last year I have hardly touched it. The fans are almost completly silent compared to the 360 and the exclusives are much better. The new trend of remastering PS2 games to the PS3 is just for milking old cows, but I've had extremly fun with Sly Collections, Prince of Persia and GoW. Really looking foward to the Splinter Cell collection and Ico/SotC.
Only thing the 360 has in favor is the controller for playing shooting games.

Since the PC doesn't seem to be affected by this crazy new imaginary law I would have to pick the DSi to throw my vote behind. I can still play whatever I want at home on the PC, and have my DSi for the road.

This is hypatheical but what if a law or whatever came into being that made you give up all but one system from this gen what system do you pick to keep and play also give proper reasoning as to why


Id have to pick the PS3 due to its large amount of exclusives that I enjoy over other systems and PS3 can play PS1 and i got a shitload of those that I love so much Legend of Dragoon and Xenogears being 2 of them

Second, why on earth would I follow a law that limits me to one game system? A law is simply words written on a piece of paper, and even policemen have hobbies. To hell with that law, I say.

Like OP said, PS3 mainly due to the good exclusives.

Which means it wouldn't be very different for me game-wise: PC and PS3. I would definitely miss the PS2, Wii, and my DS lite. But i would still pick PS3.

Since I do not see my beloved PC on the list, I shall assume you can keep your PC w/ it's games and one of the aforementioned systems.

..In that case, the Xbox 360. It has all of my favored exclusives on it, and I have some sane friends of Xbox Live despite all the rage hate against it.

My PS3 is useless to me now anyways and I can live without a PS2 and Gamecube so I'd keep my 360 definitely.
