Har har I see what you did.

You get all the video games and consoles, but do I get controllers? Do I get T.V.'s?

That's fine I'd still pick them.

Why? Because as a boy I had fond times with my Super Mario Bros. Cartridge...............lol

Every game ever does not fit in a 4x4 room unless it's like...one with a terribly high ceiling.

If there is no natural lighting in the room (like the sun rising and setting)...you'll go mad eventually.

Time does not pass and you basically don't need anything that you usually require?

Jeeez, that's why I don't like these hypothetical scenario's...they're bogus. Only possible in one's mind as a fantasy. Couldn't think up a hypothetical scenario that is more connected to reality?

How about being financed in all aspects (food, gaming etc) for a whole year on the condition of admitting yourself to an asylum of sorts (can't leave the premises). An asylum that is completely automated (no staff, but plenty of sensors and camera's)? If you need anything...be it food...clothing...new consoles/ games...you can order it from a special intranet and it will be delivered to you as soon as possible.

Sounds like a reality show to me....Big Brother/ Truman Show style.

I would be in the room with my dad, so then we can break the door down and get out and do what we want!
What, you said a locked room, it must have a door.
And doors break under a ram from over 300 lbs.

I've blown literally an entire year playing WoW(As in /played) so I know I could do that easy. Not to meantion Elder Scrolls, Final Fantasies and Minecraft.

But amusingly I would choose the person and probably go with a random person, assuming I can narrow the random down with a few limits.

Hm...I'm going to go with the video game option, though I'm completely happy about it.

There is no way I'd pick a person...I don't like the lack of consent issue, and also it isn't good to be 24/7 with someone like that.

The reason why I'm not super happy with the video game choice is because I'd actually quite enjoy the option if I had a few other things in the room. Having one whole year out of my life where I could do whatever? If I had, video games, my banjo, my computer (so I could write), some academic books, access to JSTOR, my music, and my work out gear...that would be awesome. I would love, love, love it. I'd be productive as all get out and leave that room better than I went into it. It would be great. I wish I could do that!

But if it was only video games? I could still work out (push-ups and the like), but not being able to read, write, listen to and play music would be a real problem for me. I like to play games, but I also like to be productive.

So I'd go with the video game option, but I'd be irritated that I wouldn't be able to do other solitary things while there.

Since I am antisocial I will pick the video game option (kind of sad that I choose that over having anyone in a room with me although I get really awkward with stranger easily).

I'd have to go with the video game option because I'm social awkward and I easily run out of things to say really fast, so games. And I don't think I'd want to forget the experience because at least then I know what it feels like to be totally alone with my thoughts, and awesome animated violence.

I went for another person - while unlimited games is unbelievably tempting, having another person for social contact may mean I don't lose all my social skills. Plus when we weren't probably having sex (ahem) we could fight, and it'd be a cool way to learn fighting. We'd have rules though, in case they died and though you said that that all order could be restored and whatnot afterwoods, I wouldn't want them to die half way in then wait six months before they are miraculously brought to life. In addition to this, fighting would be a good form of excersise (if we're talking about this in a non-supernatural magic way, so assuming we do get fed in our box and aren't kept alive magically) and I know that if I sat around playing video games I'd probably put on a whole lotta weight.

59 percent would rather spend a year alone in a room with video games than with another human being?

What on earth? o_O

I'd pick the video games. And if I needed social interaction I'll just play Deadly Premonition. (My name is Zac)

Whoever can socialize 16 hours straight then sleep, and repeat that for 365 days (especially with only one other person) is already pretty crazy.

I'd feel horrible dragging someone else into it, so I choose vidya games.

Well, with video games if that's all I had then i'd probably go crazy after a year, then again if I could only talk to one person i'd probably go crazy too, but with a person if they were able to forget about it I may be able to convince some celebrity crush to have sex with me, but then again celebrities are only what the media shows them as so for all I know they could be really boring people, then again I could always pick someone I know and try to make something romantic come from it, but then again even if I was able to do that we'd probably get sick of eachother after a year of just us...
GAH! I can't decide!

I'd go with the video games. Spending a year locked in a room with one person would probably drive us both insane. We might even kill each other.
