I'd test it on this guy.GreatTeacherCAW said:I'd probably test it on the Red Hot Chili Peppers and then save it.

Ryuk used a Death Note to kill Light at the end of the series. Technically, L was also a Death Note Owner but he was killed by Death Note as well. You just have to have the real name of the person, and their face.
That answers the above statement, though.
Again, spoiler'd, read at risk of knowing major plot information.TheGuiggleMonster said:I'm pretty sure there's a rule saying that the time from when you right their name in the Death Note to them dying can be from 40 seconds to 2 weeks. I'm also pretty sure that you can't use it to kill yourself.
That was a rule Light made up before his incarceration so that it would prove his innocence. It was completely fake/planted in the book, and later debunked by an unknown Shinigami that lost his Death Note to Ryuk.

Light made up the rule that the owner of the death note would die if they hadn't written in the Death note for a set number of days. I thought he used it to escape suspicion when L incarcerated him and put him under 24 hour surveillence.
I also thought that one of the "proper" rules is that the person who writes the name in the Death Note can control the time and date of their date of death for up to a month after the victims name was written in the death note
I could be wrong though. I haven't seen "Death Note" in a while.
OT: I would be really boring and just walk past it if I saw it on the floor. I don't tend to pick up things that I find on the floor, unless it is money.
I might be wrong though. I haven't read or watched Death note in a while.
Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing it up. Like I said, it's been a while, and I can't say that I paid that much attention when I did read/watch it.TheMaddestHatter said:Well, that's where it gets a little complicated.
While it's never explicitly stated in the series, the supposed "23 day rule" isn't mentioned until after Light's incarceration, as far as I remember. Even aside from that, there is a proviso in there specifically for diseases(one of the reasons I find this rule to be so sketchy).
So since awesomeitis has a 60-80 year incubation period, I should be safe.
