A simple question from a simple Escapist. As the topic's title says: "If you were to find some bubble wrap just laying around, would you pop it?" Just a harmless, random question........or is it? o.0

Seriously how do the people who pack things in bubble wrap not spend all their time popping their supplies? We have some at my own job for certain uses, and I have totally taken a moment to pop some bubble wrap. Even if I had to fake it and step on the wrap acting like I just didn't care that it was there. But the truth is, I did care. It was bubble wrap. Bubble wrap must be popped.

Whenever I see bubble wrap I return to a state similar to that of a 4 year old child as I delightedly pop away to my heart's content, so yes I'd pop it - they're irresistible! In fact I shall conquer the world with a legion of bubble wrap which I shall use to distract the world with, and while people are too busy popping away I shall strike! Mwhuahaha!

On a side note 6.3% of the Escapist have no souls! How can you not pop bubble wrap you heathens!

That's kinda what I'm getting at with this topic, other than just random fun. I wanted to see just how many of us out there can't resist the siren's call of the bubble wrap.

And coincidentally, the idea for this topic came to me today at work. Having recently been laid off from my old job, a friend is doing me a solid by letting me help him out at his job. He buys and sells stuff (mostly electronics, but really all sorts of stuff) off of eBay and has been doing it for 15 years. Needless to say he's got all the stuff necessary to ship the goods that he sells...including delicious, GLORIOUS bubble wrap. Not wanting to piss off a friend that's doing me a favor, I've resisted the urge...but every time I walk past the ENORMOUS spoil of bubble wrap, I can feel it pulling on me...just begging me to grab a couple handfuls and give it a good squeeze. :3
