Carrier: O2 (BT)
Country: UK
Cost: £27.50 (~$44)
Allowance: Unlimited internet, 1000 minutes, infinite texts/MMS. Also £1 a day data in Europe, and free to receive texts in Europe too.
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S2
Phone was free with the package... :D

This thread will point out how much better the deals are in the UK vs the US. Our contracts are so much cheaper than those over the pond... and our phone signal on a whole, across the country, is better... but then again, that isn't hard when the country is that much smaller! :p

Carrier: Optus
Country: Australia
Monthly cost: $60 (Au) So roughly 60 American (yay exchange rates!)
Monthly allowance: Unlimited text+MMS... 2Gb data... 500 minutes of calls (per month)
Current phone: HTC One X (International)

Fully rooted phone running Cyanogen mod 10! JellyBean FTW!

Let's hear it for the most powerful mobile phone!?!!
And upon hearing the specs of the iPhone 5, I can't be happier to know that Apple not only charge people billions more than required, but they also release technology about one generation behind the times....

WOOOOO! ANTI-FANBOYISM!

Carrier: Virgin Mobile
Country: USA
Mean Monthly Cost: $45
Monthly Allowance on Media: Unlimited Data/messaging
Current Phone: HTC V One
Misc. Info: I chose a plan which gives me 1,200 minutes a month with no free night/weekends. It's still worth it for me though considering I almost never call people or, use my phone as a phone. This is my first smart phone actually...I switched over from a dumb phone that was $10 more a month.

All that except change it to 500MB and £23 per month...
And I'm always surprised how much crap people have with Orange, I've been with them for six years, never a bad word from or for them... *shrug*

Your Carrier - vodafone
Your country - Ireland
Your monthly cost - Whenever I top up by ?20 I get a month of free texts to any network, and then it takes me at least another month to actually spend the ?20, so that's an average of ?10 a month, which is about $13.
Your monthly allowances on media, MMS, SMS, and mobile internet - see above.
Your current make/model of phone - Uh...It's a samsung, it's about 6 years old, it flips open.

Carrier: Some prepaid company, uses Verizon's towers though.
Country: US of motherfucking A
Monthly cost: $30
Monthly allowances: 1000 minutes of talking, and 1000 texts per month

Probably the cheapest plan I could find where I live that would actually get me decent service. Still more expensive than it should be, but much better than if I were on a contract or something.
