I love Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy so I was able to get the reference.

Heh, this badge must have one of the shortest descriptions ever. Very awesome. Must be pretty rare or something; I haven't seen it on anyone else's profile.

But I don't think it's that rare, though I hope, since that would mean missing out on TARDIS a little better, there are just a lot of options and they're all randomized.

I got a Black Lotus. As a Magic: The Gathering player, this suits me fine.
The phaser, the towel or the TARDIS key would also have been cool. I'm a multi-discipline geek.

So I got the towel badge as you can see (<-) and I was really happy with it, as I love The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy... Until I saw the phaser, cuz I love Star Trek more, as you once again can see (<-). So I was just wondering what badges you all got (Maybe there's someting even better that the phaser to me...) and your thoughts on them.

EDIT2: For those of you wondering what the Black Lotus is, it's the rarest and most expensive Magic: The Gathering card in existence. It's worth about $1000 retail, and probably a lot more if sold privately. Though the card is good, I really don't think it's worth it...

I got the mouse, which is fine. I don't see why they're such a big deal, it's just a random little fun gift. But it seems to me that the gifts seem much less "cheery" this year (take a gander at my badges from the last two years if you want some evidence)

These ones seem cool and modern, and would make great gifts I think, but don't seem like quite as much fun. But whatever, Merry Christmas to all!

That they're fun and random little gifts are why they're such a big deal!
And they're more nerdy this year, which makes them much more AWESOME!
