Unsure, because neither me nor my father vote strait party tickets.

I am a very moderate republican, while my father is a very moderate democrat.

We each make fun of our own supposed "Parties".

Hell yeah I did, not that it made any fucking difference seeing as how our country is suffering for the actions of the retard brigade who voted for the other guy (who in this case is a woman... Maybe)

My dad usually votes libertarian. I will be reaching the voting age soon, but I probably won't vote because a bearded old guy on tv who cusses a lot told me that "When I finish masturbating, I'll have a little something to show for it folks."

Wait, I think that guy was from the navy. I always forget those things.

I'm an idiot; I don't vote. Voting is always going to be between a Giant Deuce and a Turd Sandwich so I choose to remain the silent minority and wait until a major **** up that will drive me over the edge and try a coup.
My dad votes for the moderate left though, here it's either that or the far right.

Nope, I don't.

Used to, we both voted Labour, he still does.

Not saying who I do vote for now, so many "politically correct" and "bleeding heart" types around here and I can't be arsed explaining myself.

I did last time, yes, but I would have voted as I did even if he voted differently. He just happens to be an intelligent man.

That picture with Batman. Daddy's been dead for a while.

Now, in the country I live (not USA), there are two main parties. I like neither of them. I consider the one currently in office to be the worse without a doubt, but the other one also sucks. All the lesser ones are pretty much ignored, regardless of merit. (actually, the nazis are disturbingly popular, but thankfully not enough to get voted in) So I will not actually vote. Yes, I am a horrible person who doesn't deserve to live in a "democratic" system.

meh my dad isn't very political, however i do believe he is a bit more on the republican side than he is democratic, and i'm opposite in that i'm not a die hard democratic but not really republican by much either.

but those two correlations have nothing to do with each other, i don't do it to spite him, as i never new his political leanings until up about a year or so ago.

I haven't registered to vote yet. And if I ever do, I probably would vote for the same party as my father. Which is conservative. (flame shield activate)

EDIT: Either that or libertarian, since my views seem to be the most similar to them.

Nope, my dad is still under this delusion that some of the republican candidates actually have brains.

I did yes. We're kind of on the same page politically, both being quite vehemently left of centre. I see what you're getting at here, but I'd like to think my perceptions were colored by my own personal experiences and interpretations, rather than being influenced to think a certain way.

I don't think my father's political views shaped my voting in any way shape or form. Its quite funny because until about 2 years ago, I never talked politics much with him, and he never brought it up to me. I would say I vote with my own voice and thoughts but I do hear echoes of my Grandfather, whom I would watch TV with when I was young and he was alive... The man would rage at CNN on a daily basis, and most likely would be writing Congress with a fury and passion daily...
I have a huge respect for my Grandfather due to his being a self-made man, putting himself through college twice, both Stanford and Alabama respectively, making Lt. Col in the Air Force and serving in WWII and Korea respectively. And he also went back to school multiple times to re-educate himself on new things... Never balked at a chance to learn, never thought he knew it all and regularly beat the tar out of me at Chess. In fact I never beat him once... but I did learn a lot about thinking ahead, anticipation and losing with grace.

No idea what he's voting, now or ever.
Pretty sure he does usually.

I always vote, which is quite often here in .NL!

I tend to vote centre-left and my dad tends to vote centre-right. So sometimes we do vote for the same party, but not always- last 2 elections he voted Tory and I voted Lib Dem. Much good that did me... Still ended up with BoJo the Randy Clown for mayor and the chinless wonder that is David Cameron in No. 10.

No. My father is very much at the centre, and votes Labour most often. I vote for Conservative or UKIP, and lie mostly on the right.

[s/]I grab the detonator and blow up the convicts![/s]

I have in past years, but this one is going to be rather tricky. We are both quite Left, but Obama is such a pussy that my father would vote for ANYONE else.
