That, and he was pretty cool as an actor.

Well, can Daniel's steely blue eyes beat Connery's very sexy voice?

Frankly though, Connery has no competition.

I think Sean Connery was a brilliant Bond, but I also think Daniel Craig does an excellent job as well.

But Scottish is British. Scotland is a part of Great Britain...look it up.

Therefore as well as being Scottish, Sean Connery is also British.

i personal liked Brosnan he could play dark and bitter like craig if he needed to but could still be witty, but i suppose thats more down to the writers than the actors.

But Scottish is British. Scotland is a part of Great Britain...look it up.

my b...when i say British I'm referring to the English not all of the UK..and i've never met a scotsman that calls himself anything but scottish...so basically we're arguing about semantics

It's difficult to choose since they are all great Bonds.

I found Pierce Brosnan was ok as Bond, although the only Bond film I liked him in was Goldeneye, the tank chase scene still brings a smile to my face.

Roger Moore is also great and definitely one of the most entertaining Bonds with his hilarious one liners such as "all those feathers and he still can't fly" not to mention he faced off against the greatest henchman ever: Jaws.

I have to say the best Bond imo is Sean Connery he set the standard of excellence that every Bond film after trys to live up to. Goldfinger is the most memorable, "do you expect me to talk?", and also in You only live twice with him shooting down enemy choppers in the little helicopter Nelly.

I'm not a huge Bond fan, but I will say that Connery is my favorite by far. He really seems to fit the role better than any others, and he pulls off the suave thing so well. And my favorite Bond gadget has to be eiher the pen bomb or the watch (it's got so many gadgets in one, how couldn't it be the best?) I thnk one of the new Bond films need a pen EMP device. Think how useful that would be!
