I thought I was going to be the only one to suggest that anything from RE5 was worthy of recognition.

The... bat-thing with a strange name from RE5 wins my vote. It's a totally unexplained, recurring monster that can be killed without so much as a death cutscene. It's how RE villains should work, most of the time: There is something big that wants to kill you. Do something.

I voted Tyrant because all my favourite Resi baddies are Tyrants with exception of William Birkin aka The G-Virus.

Tyrant- Tyrant (well duh)
Mr X- Tyrant
Nemesis- Tyrant.

I like them because they're both a nightmare scenario (weaponised Zombie) and they become increasingly inuhman as they take damage. Something that is toyed with with Las Plagas/Ouroboros in 4/5 but delivered better in the Tyrants (in my opinion).

Well the zombies are awesome because well they are zombies. Umbrella in it's own could be considered a monster because of what they do. But I must choose Nemesis. He rocks.

Spikes made them seem less threatening to me... more ludicrous... I understand how that may seem dumb... but the normal regenerator was more believeable (-ish)

iron maiden just because the regenerators were genuinely scary even after playing through once.

I absolutely hated those guys. When I saw one walking around a corner, I immediately started freaking out and still do whenever I see one.

El Gigante was my vote. He was the only RE monster to make my jaw drop, and it was actually a pleasure to fight him, even when he beat you into a pulp.
