Butters is pretty funny.

I love the bit where Cartman is disguised as awesome-o and has to put the medication up Butters' ass. Also the episode where Butters gets a shuriken in his eye after they were role playing in the forest.

I'll have to go with Cartman. When it comes right down to it, he's the one whose disappearance from the show would ruin it the most. Kenny's nice, but Kenny we can do without. (And we did.) It's pretty much a draw between Stan and Kyle. But Cartman? Remove him and the show goes to heck.
