Rogue Squadron. (Spell check OP!!!!)

Is it odd that I name every pilot character, in any flight sim game, Wedge?
No, in fact I find your choice perfectly acceptable.

OT: I went for battlefront. I think I have spent more time playing that game than any other (with the possible exception of Advance wars dual strike). What I don't understand is if at the time BF2 was the best selling star wars game ever and there was easily room for a sequel why didn't they do it? I mean, 2 was a lot better than all that other dreary rubbish they have come up since then. Why in hell did they make Force unleashed 2 instead of battlefront 3? WHY?!

Republic Commando. Because that game gave us Sev. And it's probably the best squad-based shooter I've ever played. And because 1138 is a BOSS!
I'm not sure of the timeline, but I recently found out about books that have Sev and Delta Squad in them. Not sure if they detail what happened to Sev but I am reading my first one right now.

anyone remember shadows of the empire?
Yes I do. And despite the fact that most of premise was awesome (Taking on an AT-ST with only a pistol, firefight with boba fett and IG-88 ect) the controls made me shit bricks from my eyes.

This all the way. You don't just 'use force' and kill something, in the second level when you take down one of those AT-ST's (I think that was the right acronim) you feel hardcore. And do you know why? Because getting hit by him drains your health incredibly fast. (Then again, I mostly played it as a kid,) But it had some great difficulty, great levels. I have played it a lot, and have to say, for all the tough times it gave me, I have fond fond memories.

Kotor 1
Kotor 2 (restored)

Kotor 1 had an awesome overarching theme of destiny, unlike some...
I did not see the revelation that you are Darth Revan coming.
Plus the amazing cast of characters like Darth Malak and HK-47.

Kotor 2 was brilliantly dark and gloomy, I truly felt like an exile feeding off the force. Plus the satisfaction I gained from building an enormously powerful Sith lord was awesome. With the Restored Content Mod it's twice as good.

I see no great storylines or good characters in the Force Unleashed, although the first was fun the plot was a bit disjointed, the second Force Unleashed was one of the worst games I have ever played.

I loved KOTOR, but I would have always picked battlefront I want battlefront 3 more than I want skyrim.

Without mods Republic Commando hands down. Why they haven't made a sequel to it astounds me.

With mods Battlefront 2, because some custom maps have insane numbers of AI bots on the field, some in the hundreds easily.

I find your lack of Tie Fighter disturbing. It's without a doubt the finest Star Wars game I have ever played. I really enjoyed how they depicted the Empire as a bastion of order and stability, while making the Rebels out to be agents of anarchy and chaos.

KOTOR would probably be my second favorite mostly for its story and characters. While a few of the party members were a bit annoying and overbearing (I'm looking at you, Carth and Bastila), every one of them had a fully-fleshed personality. The voice acting was superb as well.

There was also that zinger of a plot twist.

Battlefront. KOTOR was good, but battlefront was one of the few FPSs I thought captured what it was actually like to be in a warzone. Yes you did respawn, but you weren't the same stormtrooper, and when you win a match with only 14 of your 350 troops left. You really get a nice "wow, war really is hell" vibe. That I just don't get in a lot of FPSs.

I'd say Jedi Academy out of this list.
I must say that Force Unleashed 1 & 2 are the greatest disappointments for the Star Wars franchise, perhaps of all time.
(Why George Lucas, WHYYYY!???)

I still play my Battlefront 2. Its a load of fun and shouldn't ever be forgotten. That being said my favorite Star Wars RPG was and always be KotOR II, best plot devised by Obsidian evar!
