Fox, Toon Link, Captain Falcon, Kirby, and King DeeDeeDee are my favorite characters. It's tough to get good with DeeDeeDee but it's so worth it to nail someone with that massive hammer attack and send them flying off the stage at about %50 damage.

I usually play as link. Sometimes I play as samus or shiek just to mix things up. Given, I never really played the original that much.

What character do you normally play as in super smash bros. (any of the games)
I aways play as Sheik. Its a death sentence if you get caught air-borne near Sheik, because she has a full arsenal of moves that send people flying.
On a bit of a side note, Link is newb character.

I'm a Yoshi user. I'd really like to see Gordon Freeman in smash bros.

There are plenty of characters who can spike opponents as well as plenty that are able to survive it. It's perfectly fair for Mario to have one too.

Snake, because despite the fact that my friends always say he's one of the most difficult characters to use, I do pretty well as him.

 

[Iron Lightning]

Bowser, he's a hard character to play with but can be pretty effective. I got to the quarter-finals in a tournament with him, where it turned out that I was using a controller with a broken c-stick. I barely noticed this because Bowser's smash moves are just too slow to be worth doing without charging them first.

Where is the love for Mr. Game and Watch? My best and favorite character! Although I was disappoint when they nerfed him from Melee to Brawl.

Pikachu. I just love that little guy. And I rock with him. Win-Win.

SSB- probably Kirby, Pikachu, and sometimes Samus. Oh! And Ness here and there

SSBM- Kirby, Zelda (gotta love that kick), sometimes Peach, Young Link, Falco, Game&Watch and Ness again. Plus Jigglypuff

SSBB- (so much fun)- Ness/LUCAS (the latter more often, cuz i LOVE Pk Freeze, so pretty to look at), Kirby here and there, Zelda sometimes, I'm pretty good with Sonic, since he fits in with my usual duck and run strategies, and Game & Watch. yes.

SSBM: Captain Falcon and Ganondorf mostly
SSBB: Wolf, Lucario, Cpt. Falcon, Ganondorf, Pokemon Trainer, and Toon Link for S&G.
