Mine is a battle between Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Splinter Cell: Double Agent

I like the things they added to Double Agent but it doesn't seem to me to focus as much on stealth.

I like the Splinter Cell series because I don't have to worry about teammates dying.

Vote for your favorite series and then type which game.

Easily the first Ghost Recon.

Skulking around in the grass being very quiet, one of the tensest games ever made. Over the course of a mission you would fire maybe 20-30 rounds if you did things right, there's not nearly enough FPS's like that around.

If you really want tense then try one of the last two Splinter Cells on Expert.
I personally like toying with the NPC's when there are two of them.

Once in Chaos Theory there were two guys. I continually knocked a single one of then out let the other wake him back up and see what he said. Finally the guy said "He only knocked him out. Amature.". The next time I killed the guy I had been knocking out and the other guy started fireing off randomly into the darkness. I went up behind him and he knew no more.

Chaos Theory is my favourite, and then RB6: Vegas - so my vote went for Splinter Cell.

I love the sneaking around and stealth action, and the co-op gameplay was always great fun with a buddy.

The original Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six games are defiantly my favorites. They favored the tactical approach rather than the nadespam we see in games today.

I love my chaos theory game but I have played it so much that everytime I enter a new room it takes a while for the floors, walls, adn doors to show up so I spend some time walking into invisible bariers and trying to knock out an enemy with a sticky shocker but then the wall shows up outa nowhere.

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory by far. That is still one of the best games i've played.

My favorite series is Rainbow Six but I don't like this new direction they took with the "vegas" games, and I like the "Last-Gen" versions of Double Agent better, much more interesting story and it HAD CO-OP!

I'm still on the "Chaos Theory = Best SC game" bandwagon though.

It was incredibly difficult for me to choose one of the top three choices on this poll.

I ended up selecting the Ghost Recon series because I feel strongly about GRAW / GRAW 2

As I look back on playing various titles from each category, I realized that some of the games in each section took big steps and were excellent.

A few of these, in my opinion were:
- GRAW 2
- Rainbow Six Vegas
- The original Splinter Cell

Each of the above titles did some pretty interesting and unique things to their respective scopes of gaming. I'll skip the details because I'm sure most people already know what I'm talking about.

Chaos Theory FTW! As jeffers said, the fluidity of movement and the range of moves available really spoil you for other games. It's the main reason I get so frustrated with Solid Snake in MGS4 (ok, he's prematurely aging but Sam Fisher is no spring chicken).
I love the way you could use the silhouette cast by a candle to line up a guard on the other side of thin wall, smash through it and grab him in one quick move.

Ghost Recon without a doubt, GR:AW and GR:AW 2 are still two of the best games to be released on the 360.
Closely followed by Splinter Cell, then Rainbow Six (only because I'm not such a fan of the newer RSV games).

You left the other Tom Clancy game off your poll, HAWX is it? The flight comabt sim one?
