guilty.....ME TOO.
the boss only wanted to exist.
that just made the ending even more bitter sweet.
Not to mention, well, Not sure how much spoiler-wise people know, but, geez, what you're responsible for the whole world and everything.. 0_o Kinda makes me angry at the stupid fish.

Should we really be doing this? Any other way out?

Ocarina of Time. Navi may be irritating, but not as irritating as being forced to almost completely erase every god damned thing you've done in Majora's Mask.

I am saddened to see some of the gameboy titles missing.

I still have a gamboy advance so I can play Link`s awakening, Oracle of Ages and Oracle of seasons.

Ocarina of Time is still ma favourite though. I cannot explain why, there is just something about that game which made it so perfect

What was the SNES one, A Link to the Past? I can't believe I don't remember. Anyways, definitely the SNES one, as it's the only one I played from start to finish.

Ocarina, definitely... I dunno, I just couldn't stand MM. I really didn't like it. And Navi is awesome.

I think i can safely assume that not many people will vote Wind Waker
Hey, hey, hey, hey, Wind Waker is second on my list. The islands idea is so great it overcomes all the other problems with the game. Like a lame plot, or the massive head and anime style emoticons.
I actually found that to be my favourite.
My next favourite is the ones on GBC Oracle of Seasons/Ages
then probably OoT :)o blasphemy you say?)

My favourite is probably Link's Awakening, but I liked Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, Minish Cap and Wind Waker as well.

Eh, I'm a bit of a Zelda fan.

Please when making a poll... don't miss out important entries such as in this poll Link to the Past, Zelda II, the game boy Zelda games...
Hello, Genius, i classified those as other, i put up the big console ones
Link to the Past is a big important console one...

90% of the time or even more on most forums if Ocarina of Time isn't someone's favourite Zelda game then Link to the Past is. I think that makes it deserve something besides other. Other is such a pointlessly generic option to add to a poll.

Also cut out the attitude problem. It's pathetic to get worked up over video games. XD

I'd have to say Zelda: A Link To The Past on the SNES was my favorite, it was the first I played as I could never get the NES versions for love nor money as a child but once I got the SNES' only Zelda game ( Only one that was released on the SNES in britian to my knowledge. ) I was hooked on Zelda since then and had to wait painfully till the N64 and Ocarina arrived to get more green clad fun.

Definitely TP (Wii version) for me. Here's a list I compiled:
  • - It was the most mature game, for want of a better word.
    - The story was by far the best of the series.
    - The more complex sword techniques added a whole new level to the combat.
    - The graphics were the prettiest, both in resolution and artistically.
    - Galloping around Hyrule was just really fun.
    - Being able to aim with the Wiimote very much improved it for me. But maybe that's just because I suck at console FPSs

And I know people may complain about waggling the Wiimote to swing the sword, but since all you to do was waggle it (and not in a any particular way), then it was essentially the same as stabbing a button anyway.

And I think I'd put OoT second. Simply out of nostalgia. The game did everything first, but other titles have done them better.

Only once you read the forum guideline page(s) and actually take notice of them. There's no point making threads like this that have already happened before (and before that, and before that...), wy not just search one of them out and resurrect the thread?

MM, no doubt about it, I was playing it just this weekend. Personally, I though when you added all the sidequests up you had a longer game than OOT, and the timed element made for interesting opportunities to try to do as much as possible before restarting the cycle, and it had such a unique element of not even being in the same world, no Ganon, and instead of simply saving the princess, you're saving everyone. Plus by far the best music of the series.

Let me know if I'm talking out of turn here, but you seem to be spamming in this thread more than anyone.
Just because he comes into it, and you just happen to be the OP, does not have anything to do with advertising. Nor does it ruin the thread at all.
I know this guy and he always tries to open an argument with me

so....mind your own buisness

The problem I had with TP was that the storyline wasnt very well constructed. In OoT you had the slow build up and the horrible future when things go t!ts up. MM had the constant threat of the end of the world. In TP, things just sortof happened for what seemed like no reason, its like "oh balls half the world is suddenly in twilight" "crap I'm suddenly a wolf for some reason." I've heard people talking about a 'darker storyline' in TP, when really it just ooh there are these levels which have too much shadow and bloom effects. OoT had that epic struggle feel, MM had the psychologically unstable and claustrophobic thing and WW had that interesting and quirky feel. TP doesn't really have much to make it stand out, especially since Zelda games are pretty similar.
The twilight zones were horrible too, the Wii just didnt have the hardware for it, they were all blurry and full of bloom. To say Midna and shadow Midna looked so cool, the twilight realm was horrible. Also I remember thinking to myself while killing bugs as a wolf "If this was OoT, I'd be doing a temple right now" which is what Zelda fans want.
Another thing that annoyed me about TP was the characters looked pretty horrible, it's obvious the devs were trying to pay homage to OoT with more modern graphics but the characters just looked bizarre. Also when WW came out the graphics looked really cool and interesting and havent really dated even by todays standards, whereas TP instantly looked dated because of the hardware constraints.
Meh TP was just a bit of a dissapointment to me, but I kinda figured it might be when Nintendo switched their core demographic.
Anyways rant over :p
