I'm quite interested in which armour abilities people here are more inclined towards.

I presume most people will use most/all abilities in different situations. But which ONE do you use most often?

I personally prefer the armour lock. Makes me feel like a badass, and works excellently in a supporting role. In contrast, I hate the jet-pack with a passion.

Edit: Just to clarify, I'm talking about the Halo Reach beta.

Jet pack and Sprint.
Because in my opinion, the other two suck.
You can just wait for the armor lock to wear off, rendering it useless, and it is possible to see people, even when cloaked, and quite easily at that.

I have no idea what this is about.

Are you talking about a specific game or more in general?

Either way, Jetpack sounds coolest.

Active Camo, or the Jetpack.

Raining death from above is always fun, as is a stealth assisted assassination.

You forget the elite only special abilities and mine would be Cloaking. It's so awesome to sneak up behind someone and assassinate them

If you don't know what it's about, then don't vote!
OT: Jetpack because it i the only one that really gives me a tactile advantage. With cloaking, your radar gets screwed, with armor lock you can't really do anything, and with print you only run slightly faster.

Personally, I am loving stalker due to its long length and usability. It isn't as directly powerful but its passiveness fits very well for me.

For those wondering the OP is talking about the armor abilities in the Halo: Reach beta.

OT: I'm loving the Armor Lock. It can actually kill people for some strange reason. Also its very useful in being a wall in a narrow corridors.

They seem perfectly balanced IMO, as long as people know how to work their roles.

The armour lock is definitely more of a team/support ability. As it's usefulness is minimised when going 'lone wolf'. Plus it works excellently alongside an ally with the cloak.

As for the cloak itself, it's much more effective if you aren't moving. As it's easiest to see through the chameleon effect while the person is moving.

I'm assuming this is Halo we are talking about here?

If so probably sprint....

Because if I wanted to play Halo, lagging away from people would be funny at high speeds.

Armor lock. I've found tons of awesome ways it can be used strategically in team games, and it probably gives you the biggest edge in combat.

I find it very useful in gametypes where the two opposing teams come together in a big skirmish, as you can stand your ground against grenades, while being safe in the cover of your friends to pull out of it.

I can see it coming into it's own on 'Invasion'.

Jetpack is becoming my go-to ability. Armor lock has its strategic uses, but it is still "coming into its own."
