Poll: Your favourite CTF map

A while back I posted a short survey regarding peoples favourite choices in CTF or deathmatch maps for my final major project. I've decided to create a CTF map and I'm after just a little more information on what CTF maps people prefer so I know what to look for, no survey this time, just a poll so it only takes a minute. Please feel free to expand on your choice if you wish as it would help me out a lot.

I'll be making my map for UT2004, and yeah, I'm aware map-making is very game-specific

Damn, I loved that map for CTF, I'd love it if that map were on MW2.

Corruption - Unreal Tournament 3.

The Asian art style coupled with the versatility ensures the map is as incredibly fun to play as it is to look at.

Well a good map for CoD CTF would be a terrible map for TF2 CTF.

Generalising the base though would be a few ways to the the flag, one being sneaky but very narrow (unless the game would be too easy for someone to pop up and run back down there.)

Turbine TF2 for example I like the base set up, but if one exit didn't run straight past the spawn room. The pillars make it good to be able to take down sentrys but not too easily, and the air ducts that you can drop into with low visibility but you can't run back out that way.

It's very much game specific though.

Edit: As other people have said Blood Gulch, I remember playing that and enjoying it, but I've also played it in TF2 and it was terrible. Just reinforces my point of make the map for the game not just CTF in general.

However the best ctf map OF ALL TIME is Sago's Castles from Openarena.

My favourite CTF map is without doubt CTF_Face from the original Unreal Tournament.
Don't know why exactly, might be because I'm prone to sniping

Guys, Joust in Unreal Tournament 2004 was and still is the best CTF map ever in the world ever...especially when its teams as oppose to 1v1 , it gets so chaotic.

CTF-Citadel (UT2004)

Good memories of that map, and getting my one and only 'head hunter' by camping. Happy days.

Either that or Facing world's I love that in UT2004

Bloodgulch is really awesome. They have every gun somewhere on there, it's easy to get a kill and there are a variety of secret entrances.

I remember racing for the flag and shooting out the top, only to then be killed mid-air all too well.
