I'm gonna go with Carbon. Lots of bonding possibilities so it's one of the more "social" types of atoms, carbon nanotubes seem pretty useful for certain projects such as the space elevator.

Also carbon is pretty important in organic matter which is pretty important as far as life goes.

Natural elements, gonna have to go with fire. Nothing more satisfying than burning crap down. As far as chemical elements go, that's a definite ununquadium. Ununquadium doesn't afraid of anything.

But if I was picking an IUPAC element(which would I find much more interesting) I would pick fluorine because of its very high electronegativity.

I'm going with either fire or dark.
Not really sure, but this either reminds me of the days when I watched Avatar: The Last Airbender/ The Legend of Aang or Cardcaptors. Either way thanks for the memories.

But due to that bit of reminiscence I'm going to have to say fire.

Anyway I chose "other" for the Element "Mackin"
Its an element that only I can control, only I can see it, and only I can take it's power that lets me control every other element similtaneously.

I win.

PS. The Element "Mackin" cannot be created or destroyed- I am invincible.

So what if I used the powers of darkness to bind you to a dimension that never existed? It's not destroying...and what about simply destroying you? You said that the element can't be destroyed...

EDIT: This is starting to feel like a bad mash-up.

I did say I could also controil every other element with it so I could just warp myself back out of it.
