Oh no, you've made a completely valid point, I just thought you might care her name's Etna.-Stranger- said:Thanks. On the subject of Etna though, giving me the name of the character and saying she's from the second game doesn't really change the fact that she looks like a pedophile's wet dream, nor explain it.Daedalus1942 said:That 3 year old you're thinking of is Etna and she's from the second game called "Cursed Memories".-Stranger- said:Turn off the volume. Actually, I don't know much (anything) about Disgaea, aside from the fact that there's a girl who looks to be about three years old wearing an S&M outfit. Er, yeah...Daedalus1942 said:Disgaea 3 is great, albeit hard.TooMiserableToLive said:These have already been named, but:

Disgaea 3, though I don't have it yet.
If you die, you start back at the very start of the game but keep your levels, items and Hel (money).
The story is insanely hilarious and whacked out, but it's good.
If you enjoyed the previous 2 on ps2, then you will like Absence Of Justice (though Maos' voice acting can get annoying at times in Japanese, or English, you can't win).
I'd say Folklore, if you can accept that the story makes no sense and what little acting there is is pretty laughable.
PS: If anyone can explain the story to me, please do so (in spoiler tags, of course.)
As for the story in Folklore, it's quite simple, I'll message you and explain it.
Also, Folklore is an absolutely brilliant little exclusive for the ps3, and I think it was made by the same peeople who did Demon's Souls (JapanStudios if I'm not mistaken?)
Ah, I see. And yes, Folklore is also by JapanStudios.Daedalus1942 said:Oh no, you've made a completely valid point, I just thought you might care her name's Etna.-Stranger- said:Thanks. That way everyone knows who you're talking about.
Think about it. It might not be such a bad thing. After all, Hideo Kojima is to gaming stories what Stephanie Myers is to writing in general. A total hack, but ridiculously successful anyway. Someone who isn't so entrenched in Metal Gear Solid will look at the story and say 'This is just a terribly confusing story full of confused messages and bullshit excuses for fan service!' just like how most everyone who isn't a Twilight fan thinks it's awful. Great way to end a great series. In my eyes, Rising does not exist and will never exist. No MG game without Kojima's involvement should see the light of day.
I suppose you do have a point. I'll be honest though, I am a self confessed fanboy of the series, if someone goes out of their way to be negative of the series (unless it's a post like yours or an "IMO" style post) I will flame them to bits.-Stranger- said:Think about it. i agree, infamous was hella epicLamppenkeyboard said:Infamous is my first pick, then it is Ratchet and Clank.
I am the one heartless bastard who didn't fall in love with LBP. The controls feel really loose, and that kind of hurt the appeal of the game for me. I enjoy it sometimes (it came free with my PS3, so I won't say it was a waste) mostly when people are over at my house.
Killzone 2 would have been awesome if they had a Co Op mode.
Actually, they just released a new Jak and Daxter game called Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier that is only made for the PSP and the PS2. However I checked it up and only got average review scores and isnt being made by Naughty Dog. Also it was tragic what happended to Crash but I am even more saddened by Spryro's fate; that was my favorite series of all time on the PS1 and it was ruined when the series was continued on the PS2.BudZer said:Dear Lord yes, Jak II is my favorite game of all time and they best make one to surpass it soon, else wise I'll be angry.HassEsser said:I am too. I only wish they would give Uncharted a break, and work on the next Jak, ffs! I don't want Jak to turn into Crash... that was tragic.BudZer said:However, judging by how I love Uncharted 2 and I'm a total Naughty Dog fanboy, I'm picking that one.
