i think pirating games although i do it myself on my psp but for like old n64.sega or watever i think pirating games is legal for those systems becase it is only like 10 percent u could find those games but for ps2/ps3 and all that they should get taken away if u think pirating games for psp isnt real test it urself with homebrew

The piracy stands is a very hot topic. On one hand I understand that it loses companies money and is stealing and such.
On the other hand, as a big pirate myself (yarr) I understand it completely. I've often emulated games that can no longer be got as the systems are too old or my actual systems aren't working. They aren't making any money off those games anyway. Who am I going to give the cash too? The guy behind the counter at a Pawn store? Don't see why it matters to Nintendo.
Also, I'm a film maker and as such stay up to date on films being released etc. only problem is, a lot of films I'm interested in don't make their way over here to Cinemas or even on DVD for ages and ages away. Therefore downloading films has been extremely useful in that regard (plus there are barely movies worth the now ridiculous prices they charge to go and see, when the writers start kicking it up a notch I might consider seeing more films in theatres).
The fact is, that the companies don't seem to understand it's not because we ENJOY pirating, it's because we NEED to. We simply don't have the money for what we would like and if it's available for free, we'll take it, we are human after all.
