Other. I keep a butterfly and a .44 and 30 odd rounds on me at all times.. Nuff said.
A butterfly you say, how befuddling. In all seriousness, I never saw the point of a balisong, they're showy, sure, but, they're awkward as hell to use, it's dificult to adjust your grip rapidly, and if you're in the middle of an adrenaline rush, most are good and truly screwed. Additionally some states require a second carry conceal permit for the blade, and some just outlaw them entirely.

May I recommend a box cutter? Preferably one with adjustable tension to allow for easy and rapid single hand deployment. Not nearly as sexy, but far more efficient, practical, and less frequently identified as a prohibited weapon.

If I was even able-bodied in the first place and assuming OP is talking about unarmed combat: Jeet Kune Do.

I'm a sneaky bastard who uses a mangled cross-breed of martial arts, infused with surprising strength and inbuilt brutality and inventive evil. Basically, I'll pull something from about every martial art, or simply strike out with a cheap but crippling shot. Pressure points are a favourite
Which Arts have you trained in?
I've had some training in Ha Mu Do, Aikido(?) and Judo. Then, people have given me tips/tried to teach me about Karate and Jujitsu. Added to that, I also fence.

Yourself?

martial arts. im pretty good when using a sword in the japanese stance.
I can't wait to hear what "japanese stance" is.
you know. both hand on sword. the most common is the fencing stance. you can also find someone who is trying to learn the samurai art using the two handed stance. turns out that if you hold the sword with both hands holding the sword in defferent directions the speed seems to increase when you use abit of a wild style of fighting. seems that i know more about japan then i thought.

I found a helpful picture of some people who seem to be learning the samurai art in japanese stance. Not sure if they are fighting a bit wildly as well.

Standard flailing with some rudimentary martial arts skills. I know the bare bones of Judo and Krav Maga and have some arm strength, but I get tired easily. I doubt I'd stand a chance against a seasoned criminal who's used to serious brawls.

So that would be brutal mixed with some martial arts and grappling (wrestling) a bit of all three.

If you don't really fight anyway, then you don't really know how you fight. Just stop now.
This is harsh, but in my earlier post I described why people talking about things they know nothing about irritates me.
i had stopped. i was bored of this discussion.

i know how i fight (is it even possible to not know?). i also avoid fights whenever possible. it isn't always possible.

there. i don't care if you respond to this or not, but i wont respond if you do.

Kuyshindo/Kyushinryu Karate, they are almost identical, and use alot of shotokhan, Kung Fu and other martials arts. They basically take the good things and put them together.

A mate of mine does Pom ki (Spelling?) I go simply to do it with her, as i find the style and club awful.

I dunno, standard?

Or standard-lite (i.e. slaps, upper slaps, hook slaps, just regular slaps and what some call brutal slapping).

Seriously though, I don't get in to fights - partly because it's way more fun and partly because I'm fairly lucky.

I also know how to talk my way out although I guess I wouldn't do to bad with a "Standard" style if I had to.

Probably based on the OP's categories, I'd be 'brutal style'. I have a fair amount of upper-body strength so I can pack a punch. I'd probably mix in quite a lot of kicks as well, because I have pretty strong legs. The kicks and punches wouldnt be 'stylised', they'd just be mostly random. Best (basic)technique for the job(e.g. low punches for when opponent is blocking etc.).
