I had this super old, kind of educational, console thing. We called it a "secrate" in french im not even sure if thats the real name but now that i think about it the robot that was in it looks ALOT like R.O.B. from SSBM.

We already had an Atari 2600 when I was born. We bought an NES shortly afterward, and that's the console I remember playing the earliest. Then was the SNES, followed by the Genesis.

First console I played was the Mattel Intellivision, it was my dads, but the he saw that I was a born gamer, so he bought me a SNES for my 6th Birthday, Still one of the best presents I ever got. First 3 games I had were Super Mario all stars, Donkey Kong Country and Super Morph (if any one has heard of that I applaud you, and i still cant finish that game, lol)
GOOD TIMES!!!
Note: My 4th game came for Christmas which was from My Uncle SECRET OF MANA, omg still my most fav game of all time. In fact I started a new one on the Wii VC the other day, It is alot easier than I remember it though.

Sega with the old Sonic games and some game based on The Lion King. Either I can't remember or it felt like the whole thing was in the elephant graveyard scene, or I never got passed that.

I had a Game Boy. Not even color. Just Game Boy.
I loved my gigantic blocky Gameboy...even though it ate through batteries like no other.
I hardly ever changed the batteries in mine. The only game i ever played was tetris though, there was probably more computing power needed for a digital watch than there was for that game.

Atari 2600. Probably pong or some olympic sports game was my first game, though Missile Command stands out in memory as being played a lot, and I recall they had an enjoyable pac man on it. Donkey Kong was terrible but since it was hard to get quarters from my dad for the arcade it would sometimes have to do. Of course I might be mixing some of these up with games on the Vic 20 that came a few years later, or my friend's Intellivision.

Eek, god that must have been... fun? Im glad I've never played them...
Just the first one.

And all the enemies had were pistols, and you could see the slow bullets coming.
People who say old games are good are nostalgic retards... sorry. Im glad I started with an XBox...
Excuse me?

How about you stop parroting Yahtzee and form your own opinions. Old games are still good.

Heh. I'd played the SNES at the hospital before, but the first console I actually bought was a PS2.

While I was old enough to have gotten a Nintendo, my parents were terrified out of it by the whole 'games make you kill crazy thing.' When they finally caved I got a playstation with Crash Bandicoot and Tomb Raider III. Yeah, that'll stave off the violence.
