my first date consisted of us running away from hospital for a day, with the hospital threatening to call the cops on us and tearful family trying to call up..

that 'date' only lasted about an hour or two..
but the relationship is almost two years old now!
^^

Was good enough. Well i realized that she wasnt worth the effort afterwards but the one date was a lot of fun. Nothing worked out as planned and thats the best that can happen. It was spontanous and funny.

It was pretty fun. Took her out to a movie then subway at like 2 am. Then we egged a few cars that drove by her house. Wrestled playfully in her room a little, it was all good until she accidentally kneed me in the sack. Then out of reaction grabbed them and said sorry. It was a good night, regardless to say it went passed pg-18 lolz

You know, this thread made me think things over, and I think I might have actually been on a date almost a year ago. I honestly didn't have any real experience with the opposite sex until I started college, and that hasn't gone far beyond random hook-ups. The one last year didn't go far beyond hooking up, but it was planned earlier that day and we were watching a movie at her house, so that might qualify.

i consider a Dating as a stiff overrated social ritual which costs time, money and nerves.

I went on a Date twice and i never forget that feeling that you are watched by ppl. and the significant other, it was awkward silent most of the time and the whole thing felt so stiff...

...and it didn't even had any benefits. The first longer relationship i was in started by giving her a "headshot" (for nonsmokers: Person A takes the joint with the burning side holding the filter with his teeth while Person B locks lips on Person A's and start inhaling while Person A blows...ahem...if you are all guys you can form a wind channel with your hands ;)...we giggled and replaced the joint with our tongue.

And that's about it, i never have dates,i slip into relationships...or not...

I haven't dated yet, and I'm high school. (sigh)
I haven't dated yet and I am in college. Just remember, someone in the world has a worse life than you.
I'm sorry but Didn't I see you post before that said you swore off women for grades..soo yea.
Yes, yes you did. But people could argue my life is worse for that because I have no one to share my life with.

I don't really do 'dates' as such, given that I'm a vague and lazy guy, but the first was pretty good, whatever you wan to call it

Mine was only realized as a date a week after the fact, when I formally asked her out.
That's right. I'm so awkward that I didn't realize I was on a date.
My friend did something like this. Actually, it was very different, but you reminded me of it...
He went on a date with a girl, and thought that afterwards they were 'together' and it was about two weeks before it got through to him that it had been a one off.

It depends on how you look at it. On the one hand, I don't get to deal with all of the migraine inducing confusion that results from bad relationships, and I can focus on school work. On the other hand, school is pretty much my social life, I don't really leave the house except for anything related to school and I'm somewhat lonely (only slightly).

I more or less believe in the philosophy of "always look on the bright side of life" so it doesn't bother me THAT much. It's just sometimes I have my mandatory teen angst days.

My first date was pretty good. It was a beach walk during sunset. Then we went to her place and made out on the sofa.

Feels good man.
