Poll: your first M game

I can't even begin to recall what my first M game was. If I had to take a guess I'd say Mortal Kombat, but I'm not even sure if the ESRB existed then. I know my parents didn't care back then, but I also didn't play as many games then either. I just remember MK got a lot of press as a violent game back then.

I was gaming well before the ratings system ever came to be. My first "M" game was Leisure Suit Larry for PC.

Anyway, yeah, I was playing M-Rated games at roughly at 8 or 9.. maybe 10. Can't quite remember what the first one was. But not long after I got my Playstation 1.

I get the feeling that Duke 1 and 2 weren't M, but Duke Nukem 3D should have been...

im pretty sure its 17 (at least over here) to buy an m rated game. first i bought was hl2 - when i was 18. but first i played was halo 3 when i was 16 or something like that.

edit: scratch that. i think it was gta when i was like 8

Mortal Kombat was the first M game i played...atleast i think it was M. I know MK had something to do with the start of the whole rating business. I have no clue what the first M game i owned was. Remembering that requires quite a lot of pondering.

my first m-rated game?

I don't remember the exact title, but I think it was something with the word 'Creatures' in it, it was about a duo of mercs hunting down some supernatural creatures. It's a PS1 game

if not that, I think it was 'Kagero: Deception 2' another PS1 game, if you don't know what it is, It's a game that has you murder people by summoning traps or monsters in some midievil european castle or something.

I can't remember my first M game, actually. I want to say GTA 3, but I think the system was implemented before that and I love my Shooty-bloody-explodie games.

So, probably Doom, or Doom 2.

EDIT - Or Duke 3D. Can't forget the Duke and his "3D" pixel-strippers.
