Poll: Your gaming hours per week?

Basically I'm just wondering how much gaming time you'd get in the average week. I used to have a lot of free time when I was younger, probably playing over 40 hours a week if I was into a really good game... or WoW... but these days not so much. In fact 20 hours a week would be a really heavy gaming week at this time in my life.

Obviously it's entirely possible to not want to game some weeks and then game a lot other weeks, but lets say there's a month where you're playing one or two really good games so you're motivated to play all the time... then how many hours might you play? Also if you play on a mobile device that counts - like during lunch or on a long bus ride.

Also it would be nice to see why you have so much time... are you in school? Post secondary? Working? Etc...

Whatever my count is its undoubtebly way too much. Was pulling of 51+ hours a week even when I went to school.

Used to be 51+, easy.

Now that I have too many games to play, but none that I want to play...Maybe 30 a week.

This past week, maybe just 15 or so.

Will go back to 51+ eventually.

It's funny how much of an "All or nothing" situation this is. Even though 15 - 20 is more than nothing.

Oh wow, I'm not gonna lie I was REALLY shocked when I saw the sheer scale of this, I thought I played video games a lot at about 10-20 hours a week, I'm both relieved and terrified to see I'm actually on the low end. This might have to do with work (Both college class work and job work) but I always thought I spent a lot of time gaming :/

You could also be in consoles, so keep that in mind. I am PC exclusive, and all my games are on Steam now, so... my Steam numbers are exactly what my game times are. :3

10.7 hours on Steam in the past two weeks. Yeah, I don't play much on my shoddy laptop. But I played the two Uncharted games two days ago. I suck at them, so they were at least 6 hours each.

I Would say about 20 hours a week, depends what i'm doing though. Also depends on when steam decide to be legends and end up selling good games for like 5 pounds.

According to my steam profile I've had 55.1 hours in the last fortnight, so 25-30 hours is me. Could be more since I've played a little bit of street fighter IV on PS3 and Pokemon Black.

Yeah I was thinking about that. I haven't touched my PS3 for a little while though - mostly been playing Fallout New Vegas. But I did play a couple non steam games so I guess it's at least at 30 hours, which is right in the 15-20 hours mark.

Was 51+ about 6 months ago, I'd imagine. Now I really hope it's 10-15 because otherwise I need to get off my ass and do some work, goddammit.

My Steam timer put me at like 900 hours or something obscene playing Football Manager 2009 - while I did play it a hell of a lot, that numbers a little embarrassing and is basically caused by me running it in the background 24/7 for a couple weeks.

It varies a lot. When I'm at uni it's definitely no more than 20 (probably around 10) but when it's the holidays and I'm at my parents house, like now, it's at least 30. I don't feel like I game that much any more, actually. When at home I spend just as much time jamming on the drums and reading comic books and at uni I'm busy procrastinating with mates who are also procrastinating, but uni is so very nearly over... sad times

It differs every week, based on what hours I have to work. Take this week for example, I've been working 3:30 to 12:30 almost every day, and haven't played any games at all. I like to sleep til around noon most days, so working early kinda screws over any plans.

However if I get a short day, or a day off, I'm usually gaming on and off with my friends. Couldn't give a number or anything though.

10-15 and that's if I have a rather slow week at school. 19 hours of university classes this semester sucks.
