Cliche as it is, my innermost self is a child. All I really care about is playing video games, watching movies, listening to music, working out, doing all the things I have fun with, and I really don't want to be bothered with anything else. Because of my love of those things, I'm also a bit socially inept since I don't get out much. You may say, "that's just being a geek." Well, I'm not opposed to that label and have often described myself as such, but I think the truth is I'm just a little kid who wants to do everything he wants to do all the time.

My inner image of me is me. Though, I can run very fast and can jump quite high. Picturing myself for the sake of this post, I see myself with a black Ivy cap, a dark suit vest with a blue and white striped shirt underneath, black pants and blue shoes. Though, it is still me.

My view of myself is a little...weird. So bear with me. Its not a view of who I "want" to be and not what I would see if I envisioned myself performing an action in the real world, but rather a view I've gotten from several dreams and discussions with a handful of mystic type people, including one of my psychology teachers who taught about Carl Jung's theory of a universal subconscious. It is what I see when I think of -me-.

I'm a wolf with gray fur and covered in old battle scars. I also have large gray wings. I get this image of me mostly when I'm in woods or struggling with an emotional issue. Sometimes the association gets strong enough that I can feel my ears perking up or laying back, like a wolf's would, or I will growl when especially angry.

Yeah, its kinda weird, but I've met several other people with similar animal associations so I know its not just me.
