Poll: Your Longest Gaming Session

What is your longest gaming session? This includes a bathroom break and getting food from the fridge (or pizza courier).

I have played through the night on a few occasions. But I have never gotten past 20 hours. I think the longest session I had was with the release of a new expansion of World of Warcraft. But that was a while ago. Since my new job, I don't have the opportunity for long gaming sessions.

My longest gaming session was...a bit over 4 days I think. Don't remember what I was playing, though. It was several years ago when I suffered from severe insomnia. I'd go days without sleep sometimes, so I usually filled my time either watching anime or playing games. Not very well, mind you. Kinda hard to concentrate on what's happening on the screen when you're hallucinating due to sleep deprivation...

Non-stop? It's got to be just under 24 hours when I was participating in Extra Life this year.

If I had to guess it was probably around 12-14ish hours or so. It's hard to say. The best example of a long play session I can think of is when I played through the entirety of Mass Effect and started the first hour or so of Mass Effect 2 in one session for a friend of mine who wanted to watch the story. She sat through the whole thing and picked dialogue options. Even fed me!

Mine was 32 hours without sleep was at a LAN for it CSS, cod 1&2, BF2, Quake3 and UT2004

My team won the css comp came like 5th in the cod comps and bf2 was just a 64 man server of awsomanous when every players is in the same room as you I sucked at Quake3 and had fun but sucked playing instagib in Ut 2004

Probably about 20 hours but I havent done anything like that long in years now im lucky to get 5 maximum around the 20 mark though I just thought fuck this being playing to long time for something different.

Wrath of the lich king came out. Played for 3 days straight to race for lvl 80. ;p

I think 17 hours, I'm getting together with a few friends in December (10 0f us) to do a WarcraftIII session which will start at about 17 and end approx 8 the next morning.

I just did like 5 hours. Feel kind of bad for doing it. Probably the longest is 12hours. That's when I game all day and do nothing else.

I did a 27 hours streak with a friend just to see how long we could last 2 days after a huge New Year's Eve party.

Me and a good friend, we've wanted to do a 50 hours marathon for almost 3 years but we never got around to it (never the same vacations/free houses without his parents for that). Now is finally the time. Next week, we're playing for 50 hours straight (including cigarette/food/drink/toilet breaks)!

About 48 hours valve marathon with 3 freinds of mine including half life 1,2 part 1 & 2 portal, portal 2 and some multiplayers like tf2 and lfd 1&2

My longest gaming session was with ME3 the minute it arrived on my doorstep. I finished it in about 24 hours, but not consecutively (slept for about 4 and then went back to it). I've had pretty long sit downs with games, but that was by far the most intense session I've done.

I feel kind of gross after about 6 hours of gaming, so I can't really handle longer play sessions. I may have gone about 10 hours in World of Warcraft once or twice, though.

27 hours at the launch of WoW: Cataclysm.

I usually "hit the wall" at about the 20-22 hour mark. I've had a lot of sessions in that range, but very few beyond 22 hours.

I have no freaking idea. I do seem to go and play nearly none stop LoL whenever I have a day free like 8/9/10/11am to like 5/6pm. Not having a job does that to you y'know? Not to mention those games are freaking long

Don't think i've ever gamed through an entire day and night before though. My patience wears out long before then or I get too tired for it or I start to get headaches.

I used to go on huge anime marathons though, they were fun. I still go and watch all of Death Note in one sitting now and then. I would for CG as well but I don't have all of that on DVD and my laptop can get pissy when I have massive sessions at once.

My longest one was 15 hours. I played Fallout: New Vegas on steam as soon as it came out, and when I finally shut down that night, it said "15 hours played". I don't think I've ever had another gaming session come close...

It would have been in HS, before I had outgoing friends or a job, and I don't think we ever just sat and gamed for 12+ hours straight. We'd go out and get food, etc.

Never counted, but when Diablo III was released I played(iirc) 60 hours the first three days. First short sleep break was probably after 30 hours.
