My and a friend played some Magic the Gathering battle custom map for StarCraft for about 12 hours straight. Felt pretty craptastic after that.

I've gone from noon to 4AM at a LAN party once. We stopped to eat and play board games though.

The first time I played Half-Life, I played from 8AM to about 6PM straight with no breaks and I didn't eat or drink beforehand. I felt sick for a good few hours after that. Food and water were divine. Those are my three records. Funnily enough I've never finished Half-Life all the way through without getting tired of it and no clipping the rest.

About eight hours when I played Condemned for the first time. Finished at about 6 A.M. and then had trouble sleeping because of the awesomeness and horror that is the orchard house level.

I'm a wimp as far as extended gaming sessions go. I can't play for longer than 6 hours without getting bored or tired, and the longest session I've played was last summer break when I played TF2 for 8 hours on a single server. We must have played on every single official map at the time.

8-12. I did that once with Guild Wars and when I got my hand on Super Smash Brothers Brawl (I was really bored on that day, got nothing interesting to do).

My longest was one of my first ME2 playthroughs. Didn't move from my seat for 16ish hours.

On the other hand, I've done a number of 9-11hour sessions recently with Torchlight 2. I probably shouldn't play so much. :X

Longest time ever might be around 15 hours.

My longest time playing one game was a 12-hour marathon of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. It was amazingly fun.

After high school, before I got work.

I would regularly game for 20+ hours, sleep for 12, then game for 20+ hours. Longest straight session was at a LAN party where I was playing for 28 straight hours.

I'm old now and work most of my life away, so its down to about 6 at the most, usually more like 3. Getting old sucks.

I can only think of 3 serious gaming sessions. The two longest ones at 16-20 hours were back in my heyday with SWG (I was just completely enamored with that game), and Face of Mankind around New Years - when an all-out war broke out in-game because the asshole LED faction figured it would be the best time to catch everyone while they were out. They were wrong, and I was one of many that spent at least 16 hours straight moving planet to planet fighting them off. Best PvP experience of my gaming career.

Runner-up vote goes to FFVIII as a teenager. I was sick and staying home from school, and I stayed up all night playing it until maybe 10am the next day.

Like so many people, when I was totally addicted to WoW I pulled about 72 hours. I knew it was time to stop when a bug landed on the monitor and I tried to shoot a fireball at it by clicking it...yeah.

Also, a handful of times 48+ hours were hit at LAN parties back in the Quake 3 Arena days, and once or twice for TF2 when it was just this cool thing that came with Orange Box.

If it counts, I was DM for a fucking epic D&D campaign for my wife and her geeky family members when visiting during holidays and it reached 48 hours or so. I went all Ultima and introduced a spaceship, and halfway through we landed on another planet and I switched to Star Wars D20 rules. That's a great memory.

Completely unrelated sidenote: I have the NFL channel on because I'm like that and some of you may be delighted (or horrified) to hear that Gangnam Style is becoming a touchdown celebration craze and is being referred to by name.

Eh... never done a 36hr+ one, but gotten close on a few occasions.

The most memorable one was marathoning the second half of SW:KotOR and then headdesking when, in my sleep deprived and addled state, I realised that I hadn't quick-saved before the final fight and got stun-locked when Malak had his fifth regen... or something... ¬_¬

Most others are TW related... lots of battles, screams of dying men and the music to go with it... -_-

I put 12-16, but I probably am actually more in the 16-20 camp. The launch of TBC was a hell of a time for me an my housemates.

Well, seeing as I take school quite seriously (and being a junior in high school), I haven't had much time to game.

Thus, my longest gaming session has been from 6am - 1pm on the same day playing Shogun 2.

I used to be able to manage 14 hour sessions, easy, but now I get restless and nauseous after about five or six.

I beat Batman: Arkahm City in 2 sessions.

Every side mission except for the fucking Riddler.

First session approached 30 hours.

I wish I liked the game....

Longest with breaks would be about 3 days and nights (with about 3-hours sleep every night) when me and a few friends played through all of the Halo games and some custom games in a row. EDIT: Come to think of it, might aswell play through them all this weekend seeing as Halo is out soon :D

Longest without breaks would be about 24 hours when I went to the night release of Skyrim and got home, and didn't shut off my Xbox 360 until a day later when there was a power outage (is that how you spell it?) due to a thunderstorm.

Would probably have kept playing it if it weren't for that thunderstorm.

(Captcha was "filthy dirty mess", why yes, yes that is how I live)

Most I can manage is about 6 hours before I get bored and toddle off.

I think last time I did anything like that, I got in at work at 5, played Minecraft looked at the clock like 10 minutes later and it was 11:30pm :(

I think it was maybe about 10 hours. I remember I was finishing the second half of Dragon Age: Origins (Love that game). I haven't played for quite that many hours straight in a long time, but I'll get in an occasional 8 hour one if I have a 3-day weekend, or something like that.
