Basically, I'm asking what your memory is like. I have to say mine is not particularly brilliant. Ususally, I can't even remember what I had for dinner the night before

Well...it's really hard to tell seeing as I can remember things from being 5, but not something that happened a year ago. Short-term memory is pretty good though.

I tend to remember important and awesome things. (First game ever, concerts, birthday)
But I always forget thinks I don't care about.(Homework, passwords, where my watch is at)

Depends on the situation I guess. If I have a lot of things going on at once I might forget a couple of stuff along the way but usually, it's pretty good.
I have an awesome memory when it comes to random words. Only last night did I suddenly remember about the Oedipus Complex, even though I haven't heard that term for many years.
Also, if someone mentions WWII I suddenly give a history lesson.

I often accidentally pick stuff up and leave them in random places around the house. But other than that, it's pretty good.
My memory can be very horrible.
Sometimes I have to think about my name and one time I actually had to think about when my little sister's birthday was (and this was when she was like 14 or 15).

I'll walk home from work and not remember what i'd got done during the day, thats prety annoying, cant really remember anything from age 17 - 18 backwards, weird thing is, the earliest photo of myself is when i was about 16, nothing before that.......ARGH! ITS A CONSPIRACY THEYRE TRYING TO ERASE MY EXSISTANCE!!!.....wheres arnie when you need him....oh yeah....screwing with California......
